Me and my best friend (along with her moms help) started a drive of baby/kid stuff after Hurricane Ivan. My friend's dad works at our local country station - so every half hour, theyd play our message about what we were collecting, and where to drop it off. Then we set up big boxes with posters explaining what we were collecting at some dentist offices, car lots, and a baby store. It was a huge success. We collected so much..

If you want to keep it at your school - make sure you get your ideas out. Make posters (ask to hang them in teachers rooms), flyers, and get it read on your morning announcements. Put medium size boxes in teachers rooms, and then have a big place where they can go too (like the library or office). Good luck! If theres anyway I can help, send me a youthmail.

in my church we would collect clothes, toys, and blankets in huge plastic bins. when they got full we would take them down to the salvation army or to the nearest homeless shelter.

We are having a toy drive at school right now. One of the clubs at my school is doing it and they are teaming up with our county juevenille court to sponsor it. My that is something you can do. I don't know but it's just a thought.

I have not yet reached my goal, and I am not perfect. But Christ has taken hold of me. So I keep on running and struggling to take hold of the prize. My friends, I don't feel that I have already arrived. But I forget what is behind, and I struggle for wha

Find an organization to donate the clothes to (they will bring them to the cleaners and distribute them to the needy). Get a teacher's permission to set up the drive and put flyers around the school and be sure it is announced during the morning announcements so students are aware of the drive - where to bring the clothes/toys...at my school, we just leave huge bins in the hallways so people can drop their donations off.
