Hello I am new here... My name is Piangfuan Naksukpaiboon... From Bangkok,Thailand.
I am the founder and the project manager from the The Tree of Hope project... Just wanna inform you about the project and we need volunteers

“The Tree of Hope” is initiatives take by all of us to show the world that we care. The main idea of this project is to spread hopes and helps to children around the world as what the motto said “To spread hope around the world” by gathering volunteers at least 20 in each continents to co-operate the work for Christmas year 2006 - 2007.

For the goal of Christmas year 2006 we will do our best to fundraising by the following ways (May be more but this is a consideration):
1. Make a charity concert
2. Selling stickers and other products
3. Special donations from organization that volunteers attend or willing to donate e.g. schools, classmates, government, embassy and etc.
4. Ask for sponsors from some local organizations.

The goal for the fundraising for the year 2006 in each country will be
Divided into three main things:

1. Go to the orphanages, nursing homes to donate money or buy goods
that are needed for people in that place (40 percent from the donation)
2. Donate to Unicef to help children as our goal (55 percent from the donation)
3. Keep the money for the use for the project in the year 2007 (5 percent from the donation)

For the Christmas year 2007 is the climax of the project. The things that we are going to do in this year is co-operate all of the volunteers about sending letters to the local organization to give a permission or even sponsor us to put a big Christmas tree at least 5 Christmas tree in one country and one at the United nations headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland. Then open a P.O Box in each country at least one for the children to send in cards, pictures or other things that can answer one question “If I have one wish on Christmas day what would I ask for to change in the world?” and put those item on the tree of hope then we will try fundraising by making a broadcasting concert through the internet and television from Geneva through 168 countries around the world and ask for donation to be given to Unicef to help children around the world.

After the end of year 2007 we will collect all the cards that children send in to give them to Unicef to let them use it for the consideration for policies to help children in the future.

We now have 45 volunteers from 13 countries : 25 Thais 2 Malay 6 Americans 1 Finnish 1 Congo Replublic 1 Czech Republic 1 Pakistan 1 New Zealander 1 Morroco 2 Indonesian 2 Indian 1 English 1 Canadian
But we still need more volunteers at least 20 per continent...

4. Art workers
5. Language translators (Chinese,Japanese, Spanish,German, Arabic, Hebrew, French and Bell language)
6. Article writers
7. Musician
8. Singer
9. Social workers (to go to your local ophanages, nursing homes, disables school)
10.Continents leader (Asia, Europe,North america,South america, Europe, Oceania)
11.Leader's assistance
12.Continents co-operator
13. Advertisement department
14. Reception
15. Fundraising department
16. Anybody who can help in anything

*****This volunteering project doesn't matter with religion,beliefs,ethnics,nationality,skin colour,social status, health, IQ but all you need is just a GRACEFUL HEART to give others hope and help!!! ******
