Theres nothingw rong with being seomthing you want to be, emo is emotionaly depressed and yuo cant look down upon those who express themselvs otherwise you'd look down upon everyone, Leave those who wnat to be left alone, alone. Let them be who they wnat to be, their not going up to yuo and makeing fun of you for being you are they? If they havent done anything to hurt you then dont bother them. Some people just have problems, some people dont even wnat to go to school because they dont want to be judged by the way they look. Dont judge them before you'v meet them.

Some emos that I have dealt with are little a-holes.
1. They value looks too much and they think they have the right to make fun of those who don't "look as good as them".
2. Before even getting to the point of hello, they say "Don't judge me" "Wha... what? I just wanted to say hi." "Whatever. You can say whatever you want, but I don't care." "You must care if you are telling me this even before I did or said anything." Basically, they're too defensive. They pick a fight for everything.
3. They're too self-indulged. They have these problems and just want to wallow in them and not do anything about them. And when someone helps, they get defensive again.
4. This is not just emos. Scenes do this too. I don't even know the difference between the two.
5. Also, it really depends on the individual. Some emos just are emos for the trend of it.

I am fine with emos. As long as you respect me and don’t come to me with that defensive attitude. Don’t come to me talking about looks. I don’t care if you are an emo for just the trend, but don’t lie or over dramatize problematic situations just to be more emoish. And if you come to me with a problem, don’t slap me in the face with these common quotes, “You don’t understand. My life is ten times worse than yours” ETC! I don’t blame you for wanting to continue to cut and wallow in your problems, rather than finding solutions. I do the same damn thing. But, don’t make accusations about my life.

Like they want to be left alone, I WANT TO BE LEFT ALONE!
Back off emos or I will cut your hair!

That may be true, But I think that some of the reasons that the emo kids do these things in because they want attention so really when they dress and act like that, they know people are going to notice and as long as they get attention they don't really care what kind of attention they are getting!!! Its true what you said about don't judge them because some of them can be nice, Its just that we all have problems, and they should know that too!
