"campain?" Campaign is how you spell that word. Just for future reference.

Why not just mail 10 bucks to the government of Sudan or something? I'm sure they'll use your money wisely. Roll Eyes

If you would be so kind to redrepublican's thread, you would know that the deficit is growing smaller.

Deficit and debt are two different things. The deficit is how much we lose each year and the debt is how much we're in the hole over many years. The debt is in the trillions, and unless every single American coughs up around twenty grand, it's going to stay that way.

Where did I propose no taxes? Taht would be anarchy, because a government cannot survive without some taxes.

Irrelevant what it is doing now. Its what it would do underneath your plan.

If you lower taxes on corporations, the citizens will have to make up for that,

No they won't, just cut spending at the same level as the tax cuts.

quote:
which will, as you put it, 'bury the American worker'.

Once again, no it will not because more financial freedom will give corporations the breathing room they need to expand and create more jobs.

If you would be so kind to redrepublican's thread, you would know that the deficit is growing smaller.

Point is, when you get to the level it would take to attract companies in, the number of companies coming back in won't make up for the difference...

Of course it would! Whether do you think European countries would rather pay taxes, in socialist Europe or in capitalist America? Look at Toyota, they have already brought over 300,000 jobs into America, because they have opened their plants here to aviod Japan's high taxes.

quote:
Maybe it could,

Of course it would work, take Economics 101.

quote:
but the danger is in the uncertainty.

There is no risk in cutting taxes. Reagan's tax cuts brought the economy out of the worst recession since the Great Depression, Bush Jr.'s taxes help stimulate job creation and industry growth after the dot com collapse and 9-11, and corporate tax cuts would make America the most attractive country in the world to do business. There is one country that is doing just what I am proposing: Hong Kong. They've gone from one of the world's poorest countries to one of the richest in less than 40 years.

quote:
Pheh, why do I bother responding to you? It's like trying to pet a cactus...

Because you're throughly astonished to encounter someone does not believe in what is considered "acceptable"?

quote:
Also, taxes aren't re real reason jobs are being outsourced.

Taxes are a major part, but if we eliminated mininum wage, we would see a great influx in insourcing as well. Wink

quote:
Work is just cheaper in other places. Workers overseas get paid a tenth of the amount we do for the same work. Well. Kinda the same...

Considering China is a communist country (in theory), we should cut off all trade with them (like Cooooba). It would be beneficial to homeland security and we our deficit would go down considerably.

Here's an idea. Instead of charging corporations socialist levels of income taxes, we should drastically lower it. Then America will become a corporate haven for overseas companies, insourcing will go through the roof (for those of you in Rio Linda, that means job creations), and the huge influx in business will provide the American government with the money it needs to pay off the debt.
