Hey guys if you have a family meber who was deceased and you might want to find out what they did in the military like say if they got decorated or any thing go to google and search military records and go to the National Archives list print out form SF-180 you'll need the following:
Date Enrolled
Date Discharged
Date Birth
Date of Death (if applicable)
Place of Birth
Service number (if you have it)
when he/she served (simple to put in)
Full Name
Branch
Enlisted or Officer
as well as some other basic info on your Marine, Solide, Airman or Sailor.
Note: you must be related in some way either a daughter/son or check other and put in granchild or what ever your realation may be unless you are an exicuter of an estate you must be related by blood or marrige.
