I'm thinking of starting a fundraiser for RAINN at my campus. I thought it would be a good idea to sell ribbons, and bracelets (i make hemp braclets) to support it. Does this sound like something you would be interested if you saw it? Do you have any other ideas? Especially on how to make that many bracelets that quickly!

Thanks for your input!

I'm sure you can donate to RAINN all you want, but offering a product may attract people who want something for their money.

I'm no spokesperson, so I can't say why they do what they do.

I'd say enough people are in the market for a bracelet.

In the market for a bracelet that is worn by celberties and doesn't make them look like hippies.

Then why not just ask fro donations. This way you won't cut into your profits.

Any grounds for that doubt? Look at the popularity of the Livestrong bracelet. I'd say enough people are in the market for a bracelet. Even if they don't wear it, they'll be giving to what they view as a good cause.

Bracelets would probably be a big hit at my school, but I am in high school, which is completely different than college.

We know. But that doesn't mean that others aren't.

Though I'd have to argue selling food is the best way to raise money.

RAINN = Rape, Abuse, Incest National Network.

Aremington- Is there a group of people on your campus willing to help you sell or a group that can help with the fundraiser? If so, I'd start with contacting them so that you can do a multitude of things, including food which can go quickly.

Exactly. I have addressed my thoughts on men wearing bracelets on the cross dressing board.

I'm forced to agree with Bushsupporter, i have no idea what RAINN is. Me, and most people I know, are not in the market for bracelets. Thoughts?
