hi guys, i just joined youthnoise, and its such an awesome site.
A few months ago my friend and I came up with an idea for an organization. we came up wiht a slogan, and following the latest trends in braclelts we ordered a huge shipment which will be coming in, in the next week or so. Basically what we are advertising if for teens to get out into their communities and do community service in general. We attend a privated school where community service is not optional, but in other schools around our area this is not always the case. We are currently making presentations and we will be visiting schools around our area speaking out and telling them to get involved. We are also going to research things they can do in their area to give them a head start, then we'll advertise our braclets and sell them. Our mini organization is funded by a foundation that was created in honor of my friends cousin who past away last spring of a rare form of cancer. She was an awesome girl who even while she was sick served her community every week. The foundation has been started to create areas in hospitals for sick older kids ie teenagers. Because like where my friends cousin was, there was not much to do in the hospital for someone her age, (16) So the money we raise will go to helping create teen rooms in hospitals. We're from NJ and the hospital she was in during her battle is where the foundation is putting its aim towards now..hoping someday their idea will spread cross country.

right now, we have two trial school, which are myschool and that of my friends cousin, we do not doubt we will be successful, so we are excited!
