This is inspired by a combonation of circumstance, random chance, and perhaps some divine intervention.

The Basics:
Fallen Angels is going to be a youth outreach orginization primarily targeted at teenage girls (where we get the "angels" portion) the whole point is to provide help to young ladies who are having issues ranging from drugs and smoking to pregnancy and provide them help. Of course me being who I am this is all done from a chrisitan perspective the primary goal being to raise up the young ladies back to a postion of faith in God as well as a strong set of morals. I'm looking for sponsors in my local faith community and well as pastors, preists and deacons to volunteer as spiritual advisors and counselors for issues that are slightly over your basic teenage volunteers head.

What I'm asking form you guys at YN is to give me general advice in the area of cheap web hosting and any resourse that I can use for the site (as in "ways to break addictions" and so forth) any help I can get is greatly appreciated as the group consists of exatly one person right now

I think the posters would be a good idea, especially in my school, since it is an all girls school, and girls tend to have issues.

other stuff to look for is: Abuse (Alchol and Drugs) and Abuse (as in daddy takes a belt to you), body image stuff, etc

I am actually open to ideas I was thinking that one area was a massive compilation of sites organized by content and then a list of general hope/help sites like teen hope line and girls/boys town national hotline, Another section would be a one on one chat so people can vent to various peer counselours. The next section is the street team section where crews can get poasters and stuff to print off to help spread the word.

It sounds like you have things pretty well covered.

You might want to talk to someone who knows about addiction and can help with the medical aspects of that. If you call up a local shelter that also deals with drug addicts, you should be able to find someone there who would LOVE to talk to you about it (I know this from experience, we went to a homeless shelter/detox center for volunteer work and the detox nurse talked our ears off for about a half hour before she told us she didn't really have anything for us to do...). If you can't find someone locally, I can probably get you the e-mail of a friend's dad. He works with teens with addictions and he is active within the church and community. It might be easier to talk face to face with someone in your area though, just let me know...

I was thinking the other day that once you get this started and off the ground, that maybe you could expand this to the guys out there. There is always a flip side to everything. Not trying to say girls don't need this but there are guys that are in the same situation, it just doesn't always get reported. Would you be interested?
