Great idea.

This sounds like a really cool idea. Anyone know of any links? There's one posted back a few pages, but I can't get it to work.

Wonderful idea to show that people still care. Also it will show that teens are in tune with what is going on in the world. I would seriously like to give this a try!

I wrote to the solider that I gave the address to in my last post. I actually got a response. I have had time to write back. That is until yesterday. Once I find the letter, I'll give you some of what he said.

I may have another guy to write to. I met him through MYSPACE. I sent him a message asking if we wanted to have people to wirte to when he is off in Iraq. When I checked this morning, he hadn't replied. But if he does and gives me his information, would you guys like to write to him as well?

It's like when I get a letter from a friend as a opposed to an email it has more meaning. They took the time to sit down and write the letter. Emailing is cool but there's just that small difference.

I haven't heard anything from him yet. Have you heard anything? I just hope that he sends me a letter. I want to get to know him. Maybe invite him to our spring show at my school. I'll let you know if something changes.

Thanks Hydrok. I'll keep you posted if and when I get something from him. You've been so much help.
