Dear Families of our brave soldiers,

Always remember that your mom or your dad is always thinking about you all, each and every day they are away. Also know that people like us here at youth noise are thinking about you too! You are the heart of this country. Your strength impresses me that you share your father and mother with the country so they will fight for us. I know it is horrible to have them away for so long! I understand you miss them so much. But, you have an amazing mom or dad because they are so strong and they are fighting to keep my family, your family and the nation safe. THANK YOU! Best Wishes!

I can only imagine how hard it is for you to be sitting at home wandering from day to day what your parents are doing...Not knowing from day to day what is going to happen!...But I have a lot of appreciation for your parents...it takes a lot of courage to go fight a war!...Through this time rely on God to get you through this!

Hello there!,

My name is Laura and I'm a 15 year old sophomore at Cleveland-Hill High School in Buffalo, New York. I just wanted to a write a letter to show my appreciation for your parent who is serving our amazing country. I think that serving in the military is the most couragous thing a person could do and I give your family member alot of credit for standing up for our nation. I too, someday hope to join the military - preferably the airforce and serve our country as well. But I just would like to put it out there than I support you and your family. I'm sure its hard with your parent away from home but I hope you know that what they are doing is amazing and I really look up to them, and you for being so brave. Everything will be okay and there's millions of kids out there and support you. I give you so much credit for staying strong and realizing that your family member is doing an amazing thing helping our country. Stay strong.

Laura Rose Smile

We wish you a merry Christmas, we wish you a merry christmas, we wish you a merry christmas.. and a happy new year!! Hi, my name is Tessa.. and I am writing to say that you are not alone during this holiday season. Holidays are all about spending quality time with friends and family--and although someone in your family isn't there to spend it with you right now, you are not alone. You're going to see your family soon! And everything will be worth while in the end. Pray to God that your family members will make it out okay each day. Remember, there is a reason for everything.. and God is standing right beside you, patting each one of your shoulders. I hope that your family members will make it out okay and I pray that you kids will be brave in this time of hardship. Thanks. Smile

I can't say that I understand what you're going through, but I do know that it would be heart-wrenching for me to spend the holidays without my mom or dad. So I hope that you know that people like me all around the U.S. are sending warm wishes and support your way, hoping and praying for your parents' safe return. Even though you're probably feeling scared, sad, angry, or maybe all of them at once, I hope that the messages and me and everyone else can bring some joy and smiles to brighten your day. Here's wishing you a happy holiday season!

--Your friend, Madisen

Hi! My name is Noelle and I live in New Jersey. I'm sure some things in your life are changing because of your parents being in Iraq, but your mother or father is one of the most amazing people on earth... really. Not many people try so hard to support their country. You are one of the luckiest kids alive to have such a parent.

You are not alone.
Always here, Noelle

I can't begin to understand what it is like to have a parent overseas but know that there are many who are there for you no matter what. Your parents or siblings will never be too far away from you because they will always be in your heart. Just always remember that with the memories you now have a part of them with you and no matter how far away they go they will always be with you.

Hey hey hey! I realize that I have never met you and I am not entirely sure how to go about doing this, writing to someone I couldn't even name, but to be entirely honest, it seemed like a great opportunity. To begin, I would like to thank you, simply for being the person you are. You have said good bye to someone you love and blindly let them protect my freedom, that in itself makes you a far stronger person than I could ever hope to be and for that I will always admire you. I would like to tell you that I can realate, but I simply cannot. You have put your faith into a much greater cause and I can only pray that I will someday have the courage to do the same. The conlcude my letter, thank you. Thank you, thank you, thank you (im sure I could write that many more times but I doubt it would be much fun to read, so just know of my extreme gratitude.) I sincerely hope that your situation turns out for the better and that life will reward you for your sacrifices. My thought and prayers are with you and if you ever need to talk, I am a great listener (not to brag though Big Grin) my e-mail is : KeepHappy77@aol.com. Thinking of you, Courtney.

Dear Friend,
I know what you are going through. Last year, my mom went to Iraq. It was tough to see her go and I cried, but I was so proud. Now I could tell people that my mom is a hero, a protector of their freedom. I realized the dangers, but I also realized the hope. You can get through this! I know you can! I did, because I never lost hope! You shouldn't either. Focus on somethig or get involed. Who could help more than someone affected by this? It is your country too.
To help me get by, I started to play field hockey and now I can't stop. The best part is now she can come to all of my games and in the end she is proud of me.If you need someone to talk to please do so. I needed someone to talk to, but I really couldn't, but nowyou can!
A gift from a friend to you,

Hi there!
Just wanted to let you know that your parent is extremely brave and amazing and you should be very proud of them. You may be upset that they left you for a while, but they'll be back. Just make sure that you pray for them and are always thinking of them, because I'm sure they are always thinking of you. :-)
