Hello, I live in Missouri.
I, like most American citizens, am appreciative of your father/mother's efforts to preserve freedom and safety throughout the world. The absence is temporary, but the effects of your and their sacrifice will be felt in the free world for all time. Whatever my words are worth, I know that they will not compensate the absence of your parent(s).

Fondly,
Ramon Nicolas

Dear friend
If you have a family member in the war i would like to say that i am sorry for you and hope everything goes good with them. You should be very proud that you have a family member in the war to support the U.S. Hopefully they come home soon so you can see them and be proud of them.

Hello, my name is Trent. I know that having a parent over seas is probably tough. My brother is in the Army and he will probably be shipped in January. I'm sure he'll be just fine though. Just remember to keep your relatives in your prayers and let God do the rest.

I can't exactly say that I can relate to what you're going through. I have never had my parent(s) leave to help our country, but I do however want to say that I care and sympathize whatever feelings you have about this occurance. Thanks for going what you're going through.

Hi,
Let me first just say thank you very much for your parents and their efforts over seas. I have never had a parent have to go to war or anything, and I am grateful that there are you girls and guys that are willing to spare your parents for our protection in this wonderful country. I am praying for all of the children with parents in U.S. troops that they will have the strength to get through the whole thing. I am sure that with the hoildays coming up it is going to be hard to be happy with parents away. The only thing I can tell you is to keep on trusting God and if you do not believe, start trusting God because He is the only thing that can give you true peace about this whole situation. I have never had a parent in the military so I am sure I will never know what it is like, but my uncle used to be in the navy and was never home. My cousins have told about how it feels. Still I would have to guess it is not the same. So all I can do is just pray that you will see that even though you might be mad or scared, there is a bigger picture and even though we don't say it enough we are very proud and thankful for you parents. Thank you for everything. Wink Smile

I just wanted to say thank you for giving up your parents so that they can go to war to protect our country. I really appreciate it. You are just as much a hero to me as your parents because you are being strong and believing that your parents will make it home safe just as I am. I am praying for our troops and the children that have parents in the war every day. Once again, thank you for your courage.

I would just like to thank those of you who have given up your parents for your country. It must have been very hard to say goodbye to the ones you love.Im sure you are staying strong. IF you are not, I believe deep down you really are. It must be very hard to have a parent so far away from you. So I would like to say thanks for letting them go and defend our country. I hope and pray they return soon, safe and sound. I will be praying for you.

Hey kids,
My uncle served in Iraq for a few months until he had to come home due to a thyroid problem. It was always on my mind and he isn't even my father. I know that you guys are having a hard time without your parents. I will probably never know what it feels like to have a parent across seas. Stay strong, and remember there is someone that is prayig for you.

Although the whole time that your parent(s) have been gone has been tough on you, the holidays will be even harder. During those times, keep your family and parent(s) in your thoughts and pray for them. They're doing great things for our country and they are in the thoughts and prayers of many people in America. Send them your hopes and wishes through prayers that they will return safely, and sooner than you'll know it, they'll be there!

Happy Thanksgiving and Merry Christmas!

I personally don't know what it feels like to have a loved one go into the military, but I'm sure it must be tough. If I were in your shoes, I'm sure that the only thing that would make me feel better about knowing my parent were in the military would be that they are willing to jeopardize themselves for the people of our country, and you should know that they are great people for doing so. Always have faith, we are all praying for them. Wink Have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy Thanksgiving!! Smile

I am very proud of your parents, and you should be proud of them too. They have shown everyone in this country what it means to be an American again. I think that they are doing a wonderful job and are doing the right thing. I will continue to support them and encourage others to do the same.

Sincerly
A patriot
