Hey pal,
How are you doing? I am a sophomore here in Missouri, and i run cross country in the fall and track in the spring. On the news, they show some of the soldiers in Iraq, and I have come to understand that you have a parent or possibly two fighting in Operation Enduring Freedom. I wish your parent(s) good luck in fighting, and that they stay safe and do a good job for our wonderful country. I hope that they can also help the Iraqis help rebuild their country. I know it must be difficult for you not having your parent(s), believe me, I know, my dad died when i was young; but just hang in there and, again, good luck. I respect that your parents are willing to fight, and that you are willing to hang in there.

Ryan from Missouri

Hey, i am a high school student and i participate in track and soccer. I wouldn't want to be stuck in the predicament that you are and i hope you are getting along fine. I don't think i could deal with the stuff you have to so i highly regard you for that. i hope that the problems of our world today are taken care of soon and we don't have to worry about our loved ones at war. I am not going to say i undersdtand what yuo are going through because i don't but i hope your loved one is fine and makes it back safe.

Hey,
How are you doing? I am just an average kid living in the Midwest of the US. I was watching the news the other day and it gave updates on the War in Iraq. It made me feel grateful for all the soldiers fighting the war for us. I understand you are the child of a soldier that is fighting in the war. I am very appreciative that your parent is gracious enough to protect our country. I understand it must be hard for you to be away from a loved one. I hope you can understand why they went to fight, and that they'll be home safe and sound when the war is over. The best thing you can do is think positive thoughts, and hope the war ends as soon as possible. I hope everything turns out alright when the situation in Iraq pans out. I respect you for having the courage while you a loved one is away. Keep fighting the good fight.

Sincerely,
Thaddimus

Dear children of US troops,
Please be proud of your parents for what they are doing to make the world a better place for you and families. My father served in the Korean War and I am proud every day for my freedoms and the freedoms of my Korean friends who might not be in the USA today if it had not been for my father and other men and women like him.

Hello;
My name is Sue; I can only imagine the pain of having your mother, or father, or both, so far away. I'm proud of you as I am your mother or father or both of your parents. God has blessed me with living in this great country, that is protected by America's finest. I call them my heroes you call them mom, dad or both. I'm very proud of you for being so brave. I know they miss you and would love to be home with you. I'll will keep you all in my heart and prayers. You should know what they are protecting us, they are making the world a safer place to live. I'm proud of them and you because of the sacrifice you are all making. It is not easy being the child of such a hero, you will always know that we are free because of them. Thank you and God bless you.

I am eternally grateful to all of you out there who have parents in the war or who have died. I love my freedom and it means more to me than you know. I can't say I understand what you're going through, but I do sympathize. So thank you, I know it's not fair to you, and I wish it weren't going on, but thank you.

I just want to drop a line to say thank you. You have shared your parents with the United States, and really, the world. You have made an incredible sacrifice and we appreciate it so much. You are brave and have put other's needs above your own. I realize that you didn't really have a choice to let your parents go or stay, but your choice to stay positive is huge. It hurts your parents to see you upset or sad, but when you chose to have a good attitude, it helps them do their job better. Thank you. You are heroes to the many children and teens that have never had to make the sacrifice you have made, and we look up to you. Please know that so many people are praying for your parents and for you. We are asking God to bring peace to your families and safety to the troops. Trust Him to help you. He loves you more than you could ever imagine or think. You are a blessing.
