I just want to let you know that you should be very proud of your parents. For their courage, to fight for their country, and for what they believe in, freedom. i know its hard to see them go, but i want you to know that there are so many people praying not only for the safety of your parents, but so much for "YOU". And its okay to cry, to miss them. You're human. you have emotions. but just know that they're heros. your parents are are heros. it takes alot to go out and put your life at risk, and just by them doing that shows how amazing they are. and just know that God loves you so much. i dont know who will receive this, and whether they believe in God or not, but that doesn't matter. he still loves them. and he will always be there for them and their parents. if you ever feel like its too much or like you cant take it anymore, or if you just need someone to talk to,God is always there. and the best thing is, you have complete 24/7,access to him. all you have to do is pray. i know it might sound weird to pray to someone you cant even see or hear. but he hears you. and there's no special way to pray. you dont have to get down on your knees, or go to a church to do it. you can pray to God anywhere. walking down the street, in school. and trust me, i can guarantee you that he always hears you. He may not answer you in an audible voice but he hears you. i know ive said a mouth full, but its because i care. i dont know you, but that doesn't matter. im going to pray for you regardless. i hope this letter helps you. and i hope you see your parents soon. In Christ Love, Alina you guys rock!!!

Your parents are so strong to be fighting in other countries for the stability and freedom we have in this nation- we as Americans are all so proud of them!! You are also so brave for allowing them to go.

My grandfather was a career Marine, sent to war 3 times. I can't imagine what that was like even though my mom's told me about it my entire life. I hope it isn't as bad for you as she tells me it was for her whole family. I pray that the "leaders" of our country will make the right decisions and withdraw the military soon so that you may have your parents back.

i'm not going through what you kids are going through, but i do sympathize with you. i'm 17 years old, and i plan on joining the Army, so i guess i'll be putting my family through the same thing that you guys are going through. you may never know if they are going to come home safe and sound, but always remember that there are people around you that are there to help and care for you. they're there for you to talk to and all of that! you always have to look on the bright side of these things, for if you don't, life will only be really messed up for you. good luck with everything, and i hope your family members come home safely.

I am so sorry that your parents are away at the War. I can imagine that worrying about your parents and waiting for your them to come home must be very nerve-racking and scary. I'm so sorry that this had to happen to you guys, but remember that it is for at least a good cause. Like my friends and many other Americans, I am praying for children/teens like you and for all of your parents. May the Lord protect your parents and bring peace among them and you guys.
God Bless all of You, Love, Erika PA.

Hi my name is Becky and I have friends who have parents and faimly that are gone because of the war. Sometimes laying in bed at night wondering if thier dad or brother or sister are ever going to come home if thier alright or if something has happened to them. But all you have to do is have faith and know I'm praying for you.

hey, you know, i feel sorry for kids like that. one of their parents are gone, but at least they are serving a purpose. I mean, I am sure they miss their kids and everything, but, you still have one of your parents! I would pray for your parent who is a trooper for the U.S., pray that he/she is safe. Hang in there!

Hey, I'm sorry that one or both of your parents are gone. I kinda' know how it feels. If you call having a parent pass away but that's different. I hope your Mom or Dad are doing ok. Everything will be ok, and your Mom or Dad are hero's. Keep you head up high & keep your hopes up. The war is almost over. Everything will be ok soon. Everything will be ok again.
Have a nice day, SMK13

Hello, I hope you are doing ok. I know it has to be hard without having one of your parents there. You must be worried every day, you just have to remember that god is with your mother/father and is watching over them. They will return to you. They are helping other kids your age who were born into bad conditions. Atleast you are the person your parent has to leave behind for a few months not the person that needs to be rescued from such horrible conditions that they have been living in since they were born. Just keep your head high and keep a good attitude because the more positive you are the better you feel.
