Hey i just wanted to say this is my first time doing this so im new lol..anyways i support the brave men & women over in iraq but i know the kids miss their moms, dads, sisters, brothers or cousins cause they are away in war. I has to be a scary time cause you dont know if they are comming home alive or dead. i just wanted to say " stay strong kids and teens everything will be alright."
I am aware that you are in pain. I am deeply sorry of your disconnection to your relative. I'm sure he/she wants you to be happy. So please be. Happy v-day. Here are some qoutes: While ther's life, there's hope.
Hope for the best, but prepare for the worst.
Everything that is done in the world is done by hope.
i dont think there is really alot that we can say that will make the children with a loved one in Iraq feel as great as it feels when that accual loved one comes home. All i can say is it takes alot of heart to deal with a mother, father, or brother, sister in Iraq, or anywhere else deployed. I know what its like to have someone i love in the military, going away for such a long time, missing special occasions. Just stay positive, and just know that what your loved one is doing takes all the dedication in the world. Thank you and your loved one for your support, and for their loyalty and dedication to such an honorable profession.
I know how much it hurts to have your loved ones in Iraq, but I thank your family so much for the sacrifice. Without our troops over there, Iraq would be in a lot more trouble than it is now and who knows what might be going on over here? It's because of people like your friends and family that our country is kept safe. Know that my prayers are with those who are over there and that I thank each and every one of them.
To any kid who has a parent in Iraq: I think that u are one of the strongest kids in this world because If I had a parent in Iraq I wouldnt know what to do. So I Just wanted to say that you and your parent is the biggest hero that I have because the war is a very big deal to me and im sorry that your parent had to go over there. Ireally dont know how you feel cause my dad got out the military right before the War started and Just tell your parent that I thank them very, very much.
Hi. I am very sorry that any of your parents are in Iraq. I hope that they get home very soon. I am a teenager and I live in California. I enjoy performing in school plays and musicals, singing, acting, skiing and helping people. During the Summer I like to volunteer. I love "The Phantom of the Opera" (movie, music and such). I have been in over five school plays. Right now I am in the musical *West Side Story*. I like the band Green Day and I also like Kelly Clarkson. I also like to read books. I have read my favorite book over five times. I love Beverly Cleary books. I hope the rest of your Winter is fantastic! *Best Wishes* Always remember, there is someone out there supporting you. I hope your family member(s) come home very soon. Bye!
Hey! I dunno who this is going out to, but, I'd just like to say that, you should be really proud of your parent. And, I just have to say that I admire you guys so much for dealing with this. My aunts' are in the service, and though they've never been in a place as high risk as Afgahnistan or Iraq, I know what it's like to fear for their lives. I think you guys are amazing, just wanted to let you know how awsome you guys really are.
I know you are probably going through some tough times but just remember, people are here to help. I'm writing to you because I care. My cousins didn't get to see their dad for about 10 months when he went to Iraq. I can't say that I know what you're going through because that would be a lie. I hope that you won't have to go through this alone.
Your family must be going through a lot right now and for that I'm sorry. If you ever need someone to talk to I'm always there.
Hey!!! I want to let you guys know you are not alone!!! I had family and friends go to Iraq. But they are safe now and that's all that counts. I am really proud of all of you guys that are being brave for your family and friends over there!!!!

you kids are not alone. i hope that your parents will be home soon. you know they all love you. they are just doing they're duty for our country. remember, YOU ARE NOT ALONE
Hi I know you are probably scared that your parents are gone and you don't know the outcome, but remember this: Your mom or dad is fighting so that America will always be here for your children and their children and so on. Respect them for that and idolize them. You should want to be just like them.
I thank God for families like yours that sacrifice loved ones so that our country can be protected. May God bless you, your family, and whoever in your family overseas. I know your family is in hearts of people all over America especially mine. I hope you had a wonderful Holiday. I will pray that God may keep your loved one safe. God Bless!
Hello! I know that it must be very difficult for you to have to deal with one or both of your parents leaving. You might have been very close to your parent and are very sad to have to leave them. You may think that I and everyone else don't understand how you feel. You should know that there are many other children in the same position as you are. Think about things such as your favorite movies or favorite things to do. I love to watch movies myself. Some of my favorite movies are Pirates of the Carribean, Legally Blonde, Mean Girls, Singing in the Rain, and The Wizard of Oz. I also love to read and make jewelry. Think about some of the things that you like to create and do. I hope you keep all your hopes up! Sincerely, Hayley Arizona
Wow. You are probably the strongest young persons I will ever write to. I don't know what I would do if I were in situations like yours. I don't even have any way to truly comfort you because I've never gone through anything like my parents being in wars or even away for long periods of time. I can't even imagine the worry, the longiness to be with them, and to miss them that much, I'm not sure how you get through. I wish I could do more for you. The things your parents do for my freedom make me proud to be an American. Whoever you are, wherever you are, please know that even though many people have probably told you before, your parents are the most brave people you will ever know, and know that they miss you more than you can imagine. Lastly, know that you have my support forever, and know that I'm praying for you everyday, all the time, and above all, know that God is with you and your parents always. Thank you for being so brave for our country. Its people like you that remind me of all the good things have, all my blessings, and its people like you that make me appreciate my freedom. I promise to never ever take advantage of the cause your parents are fighting for; freedom is what makes America.
Hi, I am just e-mailing to say that I know it must be difficult having a parent whose is in Iraq. I can't really imagine what your going through but I would hate to lose a parent. Atleast you know in your heart they are going to come back to you. Everyone needs some support, so I want you to know I will keep you and your parents in my thoughts. Forever, A True Friend-Monica
I hope whoever recieves this has had a wonderful Christmas and has a wonderful New Year. Thanks so much for having parents who are willing to fight for our freedom.
Kelly
I have not yet reached my goal, and I am not perfect. But Christ has taken hold of me. So I keep on running and struggling to take hold of the prize. My friends, I don't feel that I have already arrived. But I forget what is behind, and I struggle for wha
