Hey all,

Just an update, I took a pile, about 40 pages and dropped them off at various youth centers on military bases to include Ft. Sam, Lackland, Randolph, Brooks City, Kelly, Camp Bullis, and I faxed a pile to Goodfellow, and to a friend of mine at Ft. Brag to distribute to the school and youth center.

Every one continues to recieve these with open arms, and the children that I spoke to enjoy seeing them. Thanks for your continued effort.

Hey,
I can't say I know how you feel, but I am so sorry. If it helps..Your parents are there for a cause that is really important. Infact their job is just as hard or harder than the presidents. I know I'm not helping much, there's nothing I can really say that will...Just be strong. Thats what your parent or parents would want. They wouldn't want you unhappy so try to be happy for them. Thinking of you.

I admire all of you so much. I can't even imagine how much you guys are going through, considering the holidays are coming up. I just want you to know that you are in my thoughts and prayers everyday. Thank you and your parents for everything you do!

To the Children of the Troops:

My name is Tatyana Taylor and I attend DuVal High School.I think that having a parent in a war is one of the hardest things a child could go through. That's why I respect you all so much.
Know that your parents are some of the bravest people you'll ever know because putting your life on the line for people you don't even know takes courage.Stay strong.

Happy Holidays!

I know this may be of little comfort, but I myself have lost both an uncle and a cousin in this war. Remember that you are not alone. E-mail me if you want to chat. Cool

To The Kids Of The Troops,
My name is Ronald Gathers II, i am a senior & an SGA representative at DuVal high school, in lanham, maryland. If one or both of my parents were indefinitely sent off to war, i would be highly opposed to it, because i am against the war in the first place. I would probably have to stay with one of my relatives, and then adapt to being in a new environment... Hopefully i would be able to keep in touch with my parents to assure their safety. I would like to say thank you all, and that i appreciate what your parents do for our country.

Dear Children of the Troops,
I am writing to show my support for you during the holidays. I try to comprehend the pain you all feel, but its unbearable for me. It takes strong people to give their parents away for the better of an entire country, and you are. I thank-you, your family, and your parent.
Much love and Compashion.

Hello to the sons and daughters of the Troops,

I attend DuVal High school located in Lanham, MD. I am writing to say that I don't know how it feels to have a parent in the war but I know at times you miss your parent but don't feel bad the storm is almost over. When ever you get sad think of good times you have with your paren. Sit down and write a letter to thenm or even take a picture. Stay encouraged and keep your head up. Strive for excellence and make your parents proud. From: Lauren Nicely
