It takes a very strong and special person to leave their children, to go help other people and children, so they can be free. I am so proud of all of them. It is a rough task. We here many stories about how bad the United States is to other people. Do not believe that, your mom or dad is doing their job, they did not have a choice but to go and defend the rights of other people. Without the strength of the United States, and the people that fought in all wars, we might have never been free, other nations might have never been free. FREEDOM is a big word. It is our word and we enjoy it. Be proud of your parent or parents. They are not only fighting for freedom half way around the world, they are fighting for our freedom. Diane

No matter what happens to your parents, you should know that the entire country is grateful to them for putting teir lives on the line for all of us.They are doing this for your future as well as mine,so that we can keep our homeland safe and eventually live in peace.
No matter what anybody says your parents are some of the most honorable people on earth. If anyone says otherwise they are fools. All of our soldiers have all of my support and respect.

hi, i dont know you and you dont know me. my name is jeremiah and i am a highscholl senior in saint paul ,mn. i just want to thank you and your parent or parents that are in the armed forces, especially those who are in active duty in another country. just the thought of parents leaving their children and families behind to go and fight for our country makes me proud to be an american, and it should do the same for you. it can be tough not having your mother or fatrher or both with you for a long time, especially when they are putting themselves in constant danger. I am sure you have heard this a million times, and it might have lost meaning...but your parent/s are real life heroes! they are putting their lifes on the line for the good of our nation, and others freedoms. you should be very proud! that's about all i have to say other than this, keep the faith, be proud and, SEMPTER FI!

sincerely,
Jeremiah Y.
minnesota

P.S. anyone who does not show emphatic support for our troops and our cause is not a true american

Don't cry because your parent has gone away. They are doing something great for you and a lot of other people. They had to go with other childrens parents across the ocean to ensure your safety and all your friends too. We have such a powerful army that you can almost be sure your parent will be back to see you. The reason we had to go to war is because there is an evil man far away that has bad destructive weapons that he shouldn't, and he has done some bad things.

I can't say don't worry about it, because i know that's impossible. But i am sure everything will be alright. Your parents will be home before you know it, even though it seems like it is taking forever. Just remember to pray. Wink

Hi! I know what you are going through right now. I want to tell you that whoever you know who went to war went by their own choice to protect us. If they never make it home, they were great brave people to do this for us. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Smile Becky

Hi,I think I know how you feel,I mean it must be a pretty scary thing having your parent in the war my uncles in the service and so is my cousin and at times it is pretty scary, but your parents are saving lives by what their doing and I think that is just so cool.Your probally thinking that this isn`t fair, well your right,it isn`t fair that we have to deal with this, that you have to deal with this and its o.k. that you feel this way, just so you know i feel like your pretty brave yourself, because you probally have to move alot or you can`t go places, just don`t give up and even if your a boy let your parents know you love them and how much you support them.
GOD BLESS AMERICA
(AND YOU AND FAMILY)
P.S. I`M PRAYING FOR YOU.

Hi! I live in Florida. My big brother was never the steriotypical "big brother". He has always cared. He iz cool. He would hang out with me and play what I wanted to and didn't treat my like stuff on his shoe. About a year ago he hit rough times and the best thing for him to do was join the army. I almost went to peices when he was sent to Kuwait. But b-cuz he's a Specialist, he was sent someware in Iraq over spring break. Eek I'm so worried. Frown But I pray alot an I know everything iz gonna b all right. I know you must be x-tremely worried 2, but again, it's gonna b all right. Who ever u know that is fighting, remember they're fighting for the well-b-ing of the Iraqi citizenz and they are doing a good thing. If you remember 2 b proud Big Grin you'll have less room for fear an worry. (And you'll feel better 2!!!
