I hope you are very proud of your parents because I know I am. They are so brave. And I know it has to be hard to go on through the day knowing their over there. I thank your parents so much. I think that you are brave because you have the strength to go on through the day.

Thanks to your parents

You have so much to be proud of. Do not worry . Your parent is doing the right thing. Some people just do not have it as good as we do here in the united states. Since we do have it good, it is our responsibilty to make the world a better, safer place. Thats what your parents are trying to do. They are very brave and so are you. Millions of Americans are thankful for you and your family. Take Care and much love. zadia

my dad was in the army so he was gone most of the time. this was during sandstorm. it sucked because i was only 3 yrs. old. he never went to war, but he was never around most of the time. it was pretty sad. since i was only 3, i tried to help my mom and my brother. my brother was like 1 yrs. old. i know it's hard. but u gotta keep ur chin up and never show ur fear, even if u are scared. i'm 14 yrs. old, and i have a few cousins who are in the middle of this mess. so, support our country, and stay strong for your mom, dad, or family who has gone to war. Razz

dear troops,
hi, i am 11 years old and in 6th grade. when i was in 5th grade the world trade centers were destroyed, and i can remember the look on every ones faces when this happened. I've got a friend named Zimran, and his family is from Pakistan and i just hate it when i see him every day and see the look on his face. I am so glad that we are having this war and to show that we can stand as a free country and beat iraq at its worst. My brother is 8 yrs. old and is in 2nd grade, he wants to be in the Army and fight to serve for our country when he grows up. This is only because you people as troops searving the country and have inspired him,and that to me is what being free is all about, inspireing people. So thank you troops, for serving the nation and fighting to be free. But just remember to don't give up and think of how many people you are inspireing. Hope you come home soon !

From: Molly R.

PS: GOOD LUCK !!

I know this war with Iraq has been hard, but all you have to do is foget about what is going on and have fun with your friends. If you have a family member in the war just right a letters to them when ever you can. I'm not haveing that bad of a time but i'm preety scared that they might boom my state. I just hope you will feel better after you read this because I wanted to make a kid feel beter with what is going on.

Just remember through all the hard times that your parent(s) is doing something really good for everybody. Whether it seems like it now or not he/she is freeing a lot of kids over there who don't have all the things that we have. They are very strict and a lot of peolpe die everyday because of it and your parent(s) is trying to make that not happen.

If you are having a very hard time or if you just want someone to talk to you can email me
