Hello. I understand that someone very close to you is at war. You have the thanks of America for sending a member of your family to Iraq. Your loved one is fighting a fight that many of us wouldn't be brave enough to fight. You should be very proud of them. Where ever they are, I wish them godspeed, and to return home soon. Yours Truely, Alexis S.

To the thousands of kids out there without their parents right now I am truly sorry. I don't know what you're going through right now, and I'm glad I'll never have to know, but I'll know that you'll make it through. I'm sure you're having tough times right now but God Bless You and you'll make it through.
Sincerely, Karissa A. T.

You are probably the bravest one right now. Your parents have to be brave to go to war, but you have to be brave to let them go and no matter how terribly wrong it seems to leave for war when you have a child who loves you growing up, they are doing it for you. I can guarantee they want to see you grow and do well right now, but they want even more for you to be safe. What they are doing right now is creating a perfect place for you to grow up. Even if you seem "parentless" right now, you have one of the best kind of parents in the world.

It is our job as citizens of this United States to protect this country. Your parent is doing just that and we are proud of them. We are praying for their safety in this crisis and for a return home soon. In the meantime, you can help others in the same boat as yourself with prayers. You'll be amazaed how that helps you with dealing with your own worries. God bless you.

I know how you feel right about now. My heart goes out to all of the children and mothers and fathers that are involved in the war with Iraq. I mean I was scared at first and still am but right now you have to realize our mommies, daddies, baby boys, and baby girls that are fighting chose the military , navy, or army whatever station they are in chose this for our country and wanted to fight for our rights. I was scared when I heard we were going to war and I thought my step-father was going to war and I started to cry about it and then I talked to him and then he told me there is nothing to worry about he is there and he isn't going no where.I love you and I have to go . GOD BLESS YOU I LOVE AMERICA

I hope that your family member(s) will return home safely. It must be so hard wondering what will happen to them or whether they will live or die. Try to hang in there. All my love and prayers goes out to you and your family as well as all the victims of this war.

Hey, I understand that your parents or a close relative has gone to war. Well i understand as well. I have a few close relatives that are at war and might be going. I am scared for them, I dont want to loose them. I always have to see things in a positive way. The way I see positive is that a lot of people will have a better life depending on how this ends. You'll see this will eventually end good. Talk about this, and dont be afraid to express your feelings about it. Thanks, and God Bless you, Your Family, and God Bless America!

I'm may not support war, any war, but now that we are fighting one I can't help by stand proudly behind my country. The service men and women overseas are truely remarkable, protecting me ... somebody they never even met. Those who stepped away from raising their children, and being with their husbands/wives are the strongest of them all. I feel as if I should be taking their place, and letting them be with their children. And for the kids of our service men and women, you guys are amazing!! Never feel as if they are gone for a reason that isn't good, they are protecting our country .. and there is no job greater than that. I thank you a million times for sharing your parents with the rest of our country. We are more than grateful! and thank you for being strong. Don't give up hope, and never forget the great things your parents are doing for all of us. You're in my prayers!! Very thankful, Chelsey Keep hope alive. <3

This must be hard for you, I know, but I want you to know that I am very grateful for what your parents are doing. My dad used to be in the Navy, so I had to move around a lot, and I know it's hard. If anyone just wants a "shoulder to cry on", you can write to me God bless America and our troops. [This message was edited by YNLissa on April 04, 2003 at 06:50 AM.]
