my dad went to afganistan, and I can tell you through my own time back home, it was sheer hell here. if you are against the was, just support the troops for their families.

I currently have no one real close to me in the war now, but when i think of war. Its just not right. I support what the troops in iraq are doing but what i dont support is the reason why. its been six years and were still demolishing their country. I want to be there for the troops and all them to come home soon. with out iraq coming to take it back out on us. I pray for the troops now and hope they will be home soon. -Dani2B

I have one friend who is in Iraq right now. Another is in California and his base was evacuated because of the wild fires. I pray for all of the soldiers. God Bless!

A friend of mine was among the first deployment of troops in Iraq. She was a member of Charlie Company, a doctor. I was so scared she would be killed.....but she returned home safely. I have always been against this war from the beginning, but in an attempt to support my friend, I refrained from getting political in her presence. What I did, however, was send her care packages by the dozen! I tried to send something every week. The gift that made the most impact was an easter bonnet assembly kit....I found some inexpensive but colourful silk flowers at the 99cent store, ribbon, stickers, and paper plates for the hat base.....to this day, I cherish the photos and thank you note sent by the women of Charlie Company. I encourage anyone reading this to use their imaginations, and send a bit of love and cheer to our troops!

Hey Christina! My uncle went to the war and is back there now, I was all for voting for Bush and going to war to help them, but now its gone a little too far, we need to find a way to retreat without leaving there country, (and ours) in shambles. We need a plan

I support the people in the army for what they do right now. but what their doing is what i don't support. it's a pointless war.
