What is everyone doing in they're community to make it a little more bearable to go over seas?

Please keep discussion on the topic of support for Canadian armed forces. This is not the forum to discuss whether or not you view the Canadian military as legitimate, or whether they are involved in "active conflict."

Almost every nation has some kind of military, Wolfie, even if they don't use it in armed conflicts. National defense is always on the top of the list of priorities.

cananda has an army? i thought they stayed out of conflicts.

I live in a militry town, so the base is just up the road. It's amazing to see all the kids parents come and go. I think it takes lots of independant pride and dignity to go show patriotisme in other countries.
