Everybody I know, my teachers, parents, all the adults in my life, regard me as a know it all brat that they refuse to listen to when I have an opinion just because the ythink I should disagree with them. How do I get them to regard me as a human being? It's really annoying to have everybody regard me as a little girl that agrees with whatever anybody else says. Grrrrrr!

Change your bearing. Look willing to listen as well as speak. Don't act like your answer is the answer, etc.

well I don't know...why did you say in your first post they regard you as a know it all brat? I'm not saying that you are, I don't know you, but could it be based on something? Don't take that the wrong way, I'm honestly asking. Maybe you should take a look at how you talk to people and try to understand where they're getting that from, what is it that you do. Then again, maybe the people you deal with are overly sensitive. who knows.

I don't really do it to the point of being annoying ( in my point of view).I usually am respectful and open minded, or in my opinion. I guess it's just that either I have a problem that I can't see or the people I'm talking to have problems with being spoken to?

If you don't want people to treat you like a child or a little girl you need to prove them wrong. Show them that you are responsible, and that they can have conversations with you without you getting all uptight and defensive about your own views. It's normal to feel strongly about your opinions, but you should try to keep an open mind nevertheless, and understand that same as you feel really strongly about something, they can too about their own views on issues. If you disagree with them, you can explain why without resulting to getting all judgemental and too defensive. Last of all, remember these are just opinions. Now I'm not saying this to lecture you, but because it's something that I also have a really hard time with(it's not easy, especially if you feel really passionate about something). I should try better to follow my own advice and not be such a hypocrite.

Well do you disagree with them alot? becuz if you do, their going to assume that your always going to disagree with them. and when your serious about agreeing with them, they might think that it's just B.S.
