Also my 9'th and 10'th grade spanish teacher.
She wrote a 2 page reccomendation for me for a college program when she only had to write one paragraph. She also came out of retirement this year to teach my class and one other spanish class. She tries to teach us in the easiest way she can. We always have fun in her class.

Te doy las gracias Señora.
Yo espero que ud. tenga una feliz navidad.

Subjunctive in spanish, mine isn't that good.

3rd grade teacher

8th grade math teacher
8th grade english teacher

9th grade english teacher
9th grade physical science teacher
9th grade gym teacher (even though I despise gym)

10th grade english teacher
10th grade algebra teacher

9th-10th grade band director

I'm starting my second semester of 10th grade on January 4th. I happen to like most of my teachers. And even the ones I'm indifferent do or don't really like, I can still get along with. It's rare that I absolutely hate teachers (though I can think of at least two off the top of my head).

My 8'th and 9'th grade english teachers.
My 8'th grade social studies teacher
My freshmen science teacher.
Master guns...my military training teacher
Sensei Cruiz, my karate teacher

All really cool teachers that put up with my crap, encoraged me, didn't give up on me, and helped me when i need it. Also some of them could usually cheer me up. They are all really funny and could joke.

My 8th grade Social Studies teacher encouraged my protests and questioning of authority.

My fourth grade teacher was fantastic. My sophomore year English teacher was also great. The best teacher though was my comparative government teacher. He's partially to blame for me being so liberal.

I've had three good teachers my entire life. One was my sixth grade math teacher, Mrs. Elliott. She was the last competent math teacher I had. My other good teachers were my Latin teacher I had all four years of high school, and my English/Creative Writing teacher I had three years of high school. All were absolutely amazing women and teachers.

When the president talks to god are the conversations brief or long? Does he ask to rape our women's rights and send more farm kids off to die? Does God suggest an oil hike when the president talks to god?

For every good teacher, there a bad teacher. Like Ms Cuadrado my english teacher. She's so dull and monotonous.

When my English teacher asked why I haven't done any homework recently, I replied "because Bush won." She has said that it is completely understandable and I can take as much time as I want to catch up. (In my defense, I spent most of my free time volunteering with the Kerry campaign and was at the polls in the rain for 14 hours on Tuesday, so I took some time away from school when I learned GWB will remain in office.) This teacher has also given me extra credit for attending a Le Tigre show ... I described it as a mourning of the election, complete with a feminist dance punk band.

More often than not, younger teachers have a better understanding and better connection with students. But in the case with my Sign Language teacher, she's in her 40's, and married with 2 kids, and she still has an amazing connection with the students. She also teaches psychology, so maybe she understands the mind better.

The best teacher I have had in my 9 school years was my 6th grade teacher. He pushed us really hard even though we were wee little 11 year olds. Since I wanted to get good grades I was really really smart that year but then I think after that i became stupid? hm. thats weird
