I'm not sure if anyone else here has this problem. Cops seem to have this thing with me. I have been questioned several times for really dumb things. Once, for having a mint (cop thought it was a drug), another time for looking through a telescope at Mars, and a few times for being out during school hours (i was homeschooled for a few years). I also got chased by them once for hanging with my neighbor on the roof of a shed (we were trespassing but the property was abandoned anyway). Anyhow, if anyone else has to deal with bogus cops, let me know.

Well, I don't know what it is. I'm homeschooled and have been out walking around serveral times for different reasons and they've never even questioned. In fact, my sister used to be homeschooled too, and our mother said we could walk to the grocery store and get something from the deli for lunch. We stopped on the side of the road and ate it, and it was across the street from a police station (community service center, but it's run by the police). I was 13 at the time (now I'm 14) and she was 15.

I don't know what to say. Of course, there was this one lady in a gas station that was looking at me as though I was going to hold-up the counter. She was just another costumer. That's the only time someone's thought I was doing anything wrong.

How do you dress? Maybe that has something to do with it? I don't know.

why dont instead of bashing the police and calling them pigs you respect them and let them do their jobs. if they stop you just co-operate. is it that hard? is that to much of a hassle? think of what it would be like without police.

Here's an interesting fact: if you don't do anything remotely illegal, the police won't bug you. Wow.

I dont like the police!!! They always want to question you for stupid stuff. They think they can intimidate people b/c they have a gun and some kind of authority. They dont intimidate me 1 bit. Im more into investigators and detectives~b/c i know some. Investigators and detectives r usually cooler than the police.

Well if it was true, you deserved it. you have to tread carefully with authority.

And ofcourse if you draw attention to yourself. people are going to notice when you are doing unlawful things, even if others are doing the same thing.

I seem to have the same problem. I get pulled over for dumbest reasons, like exhaust is too loud or doing 71 in a 65m.p.h. zone. What really matters is if you draw attention to yourself. The cops keep a closer eye on you if you dress like a punk, gangsta etc. since i have multiple piercing, dyed/spiked hair and i drive a 300ZX I'm pretty screwed. I even get it at my school. I got searched for drugs because I made change for someone. And before that I got called up and searched because the principal had some "infomation" that i was a drug dealer and today was the big shipping day. And I got 2 detentions for badmouthing the principal

I was gonna say something meaniful, I was gonna say something wise, I would have said something that meant something to me, but I lost my train of thought

It wasn't even pointed at a window. It was pointed up, at Mars.

A month isn't dead, finn. Two years on the other hand...

I've never really had problems with cops. Perhaps it's because I look "normal" but most likely it's because I've never done anything that would cause suspicion. But looking through a telescope? Come on. The cops in your town must have something against peeping Toms.

Eh, I call them pigs too. I've seen enough of what they'll do at protests.

Yo dude, the vets at this site will bash ya for reviving dead threads, but since this is my thread anyway, whatever.

OK crazyness goin on! in my school. if ya took a preppy cute normal lookin girl and a kid who always wears black or has thier hair a different color (I have blue hair so I know mkay) and has tattoos all over. you search both of them. the one with the drugs and list of "booty calls" is the preppy cute girl. but the cops never search them cuz they're too darn cute to be a crack whore.

I have been hassled many a time no matter how stupid the reason was. and it all frickin started when I dyed my hair blue. the cops are biased and subculturist (yes I know that isn't neccasarily a word). I've met a lot of people who got out of bein a police officer because they found out what they do. so basically almost 98% of all cops are dirty as a pig (maybe thats why me and many others call them pigs).
and whoever makes friends with a cop, must either: live in such a tiny town that the cops are the only interesting people to talk to, they're the cop's dealer for "stuff", they're related to them in some way or another, or they're just frickin IDIOTS.

please do say something back to this, don't hold back, I know you now hate me for dissin your "buds". I call them ******* PIGS! and that will be thier title to me and many more people across the planet. only a select few are stupid enough to LIKE them and not be forced to.

I do enjoy Cosby periodicaly. And I ment Carlton is South African, not South American(mental typo or something). Carlton does travel to Argentina and Peru often though.

The other option is; I googled the name and it came up as a television show with Will Smith in it that I am not familliar with- "The Fresh Prince of Bel Air". It seems too obscure to be your refference, so could you please elaborate?

Perhaps since it's an old show you haven't seen it, but I am an insomniac and watch Nick @ Nite. You should too. You'll see "middle class" comedies like Roseanne and the Fresh Prince of Bel Air. The latter is a hilarious show about a city hoodlum thrown with his rich uncle's family in Bel Air.

I would have also recommended the Cosby Show, but that's just boring. Too old and therefore colour quality sucks.

The only Carlton Banks I know was a South American Polo rider we met in Istanbul. His dad was a diamond trader. Do you know him?

Well, since in Spanish speaking countries the names Carlton and last name Banks are so common, and I'm very close to South America, I must have met him somewhere, but I am afraid I just met Indian jewelres in the other Caribbean islands instead. Those I recall. I have a thing for Hindus, mind you. I like they gray-red-dark skin.

Well, the stockings, bowler hat, and cane will make you look like an idiot.

The HC should be changed to "I want to be Carlton Banks".
