I am sure you didn't see the open windo with the woman changing in it, right? quote: and a few times for being out during school hours (i was homeschooled for a few years)
Yeah, they should have known that you were homeschooled and when you told them that they should have beleived you. quote: I also got chased by them once for hanging with my neighbor on the roof of a shed (we were trespassing but the property was abandoned anyway)
Sure, you should be able to do anything if it is an abandoned property, even if it isn't yours. SIGH

The only time I was ever in trouble legaly was when the S.E.C. investigated my father and I for insider trading. We were exhonnerated and granted a formal apology. I don't get watched or hassled by police, ever. When I am walking down the street the only hassle I get is from bums I call the police and they hassle the bums. mabye the cops just mistook you for one of them. Woah dude, the most trouble I have even been into with the police was almost getting caught in a mass arrest trying to get to a gay rights rally, and that was in NYC. I meant slight harrassing, such as the cop pulls over and asks me why I'm not in school or if that's really a mint and not drugs, I talk for a few seconds and the cop drives away. I've never been arrested or any stuff like that, I just know about a lot of cops around here harrassing people that aren't doing shlt.

Actually, jeans and a black "hoodie" does sound rather trampy. I couldn't imagine wearing a sweatshirt in public. Yuck! People would thing i was some sort of vagabond. T-shirts are ok for a quick run to the store but not for wearing often. t-shirts are for wearing underneath collared shirts. If I were a Police officer, I would give you hassle. You may feel like nothing happens in your neighborhood but I'm sure your neighbors think:"nothing would ever happen here if it weren't for that rif-raf next door who wears black all the time and is always getting in trouble with the police". The person ruining the neighborhood never realizes they are doing it. Ummm...I wear jeans and a black hoodie. Or a black shirt. Pretty much the same thing every day. I don't consider this to be outside of the norm, or to be iffy looking, but a few people think it makes me look a tad sketchy. I don't know what you thought I dressed like, but that's definitely not why cops mess with me. Cops bother me because I live in a safe little neighborhood where nothing happens and the only thing that the cops have to do is bother random teenagers.

Well if you dress a certain way that is designed to get attention, don't be surprised when attention is paid to you. I know, I know, you didn't dress that way to get attention, you did it to show your individuality and blah blah blah. If you dress differently from the norm than yes people are going to notice you and think you are a troublemaker.

Sorry about "freak/loser". Sketchy is a better word. But if you dress avant garde you should expect hassle. I bet cops hassle you because you probably dress like a freak/loser. Honorablecoalition.tripod.com Whereas; This message has hereby been proudly deemed racism and bigotry free by the Great and Honorable Coalition Against Racism. MMIV - Youthnoise's First Coalition.

I've only met one super nice cop. Cop cars usually slow down as they pass by me when I'm walking down the street. Not doing anything wrong, no warrants, they just stare me down. They do it at the skytrain stations too-they make a beeline for me just because I'm a punk teenager. It sucks. I am not a stereotype and I don't appreciate the harrassment. Once, I was detained for like an hour at the airport because the cops figured I was a runaway and had been reported missing (I hadn't). They kept trying to bully me into telling them why I wasn't at home. It was really weird. It was like "tell me what happens to you at home or else you're in big trouble" it was really messed up and very unhelpful. I don't like cops

I feel you on that cause they do that and to tell you theres no way to get by a bogus cop. Most of the bogus are just looking for drugs. Not to take you in but for them to in to.

cops aren't my favourite people they can be quite frightening, but they are helping you. even if u do get into trouble they cant interview you without representation if you dont want them to. plus, what would our world be like without them?

You're SolG, arentchya. Ooo, I'm going to kick your äss. Personally- I've had bad experiences with cops. Me and my ex-boyfriend were hanging out behind the local bowling alley when a police car shined the spotlight on us. We were just talking. They had us come over, asked if we were doing drugs or smoking. I said no, I'm in TATU and SADD and all that- I woudnt do drugs. (Yeah yeah, I'm a goodie goodie). Well, I was wearing my usual black baggy pants and my "Capitalists take warning, your fall is near" shirt. They said we smelled like alcohol. So, they made us take a breathalizer. We all passed it with flying colors- not one of us had anything to drink. The police still werent convinced, so they searched us. Patted us down, and all that. I have GAD- Which means I have panic attacks if I'm nervous. So, I had a panic attack, hyperventilated, and almost passed out. I was still shaking the next day. All in all, they had no reason to search us.

I think it really depends where you live at (what neighborhood or wehether you live in the city or suburbs). The cops here I think are too busy to worry about skateboarders and stuff like that...I think they get pissed when they et called for stupid stuff because people do really call for stupid reasons. I don't favor the justice system or cops to much but there really isn't much you can do about it.
