I had my cell phone stolen from my purse during gym this year. They took no money, just my phone. They person who stole it had already stolen 2 other people's phones. When we filed a report with the police, they said they would come to my school and confront her about it and hopefully get my phone back, and make her pay for the bill she ran up on my and 2 other people's phones. But the police never came, I never got my phone, the school never took any action, and in a crazy turn of events, I got yelled at for a having my cell phone at school (which was off and out of sight). I don't really think that was right. Has anyone ever had something similar happen to them? Or do you just not like the police or school officials....

I haven't had my phone stolen, but we call our "school officals" rent-a-cops...all they do is talk into their little walkie-talkies when they're three feet away from each other and tell us not to walk through the shrubbery beds. The fat one got winded walking up the stairs.

They probably had more important things to do, and unless you had absolute proof, the school couldn't really do anything either. Also, the police can't just make her pay for the bill. You'd probably have to take her to court for that.
What if what you think is great, really is great, but it's not as great as something greater?
