i hate my mom so much

i wanted to blog in the " i hate my mom" blog
but the discussion was closed
so here is another one
i am soo mad and annoyed with my mom right now its not even funny
oh my lord

There you will find your YN blog, and that would probably be a more appropriate place to voice these sentiments as opposed to creating a new thread. (I chose to leave this thread intact because I think some good points were raised.)

I was only a bitch because I'm tired of people who have no idea of even a glimpse of the real world whining about how their life sucks.

Every time I see a thread like this, since it's usually the case that the above is true, I assume it to be true.


However, you never did answer my question. Do you know WHY your mother wouldn't buy you/let you buy those jeans? If you don't, then talk to her and find out why.

My intention in my previous post was not to be rude, and if it came off that way, than I apologize. I simply wanted to make you understand what is acceptable here by others and what is not. If I was too blunt about it and it came out as too harsh for you, then I am sorry.

First, let me tell you why I think that threads like this one should not be around. Hate is a very powerful word. Hate is what has driven people to hurt and kill others. Hate is what feeds racism, discrimination, genocide, and nations to turn against one other. I personally think that when someone hates there has to be very strong reasons behind it.

I think that it is a mistake to throw such a word around without realizing it's meaning and the power behind it. There are so many people that have died and suffered because of hate that I think it is absurd for people to take such a word so lightly.

Now, it is good to speak out and exercise your freedom of speech. But is wise to first think before opening ones mouth. Don't you think there is already enough hatred in the world already? Are you realizing that you are saying you hate someone because you didn't get a pair of jeans? Think about that for a second.

I think and I hope that you know that you just wont get everything that you want in life. Parents can't give you everything you desire, and there comes a point when you understand that materialistic things don't equal love.

And you know what, it's okay to be upset at your mother. It's okay to be angry sometimes. It's human. But think about the words that are coming out of your mouth before putting them out there. Some people may say that words are just words and they don't mean anything. But I think about all of those speeches full of hatred that moved people to rise against each other, and that is where words are no longer just words. They become weapons.

I admit that I might be exaggerating here. But sometimes I wish people would exercise their freedom of speech more wisely. Venting is good, I'm not saying it's not. Just think about the reason why you say you are hating and who you claim you are hating. I can't image hating my mother for such a reason...or any reason at all. But that's just me.

Oh, and when you say "then don't read it." When you post a thread here, it is so that others read it and comment on it. So you put it out there for any type of feedback. The diary suggestion was a sincere one, it was not meant in a rude way. I usually write in my diary when I feel upset or when there is something I have to vent about. It seriously helps, well, at least me. I was not trying to belittle you in any way. I hope that now you understand the reasons why I don't like that word being thrown around carelessly. I'm not one to try and make people feel bad or ridicule them, that's not me. Of course, you don't know me, so you don't have to believe me.

Well, I hope it all works out for you, and your mother. Teenage years are harsh sometimes, I'll give you that. Just remember that when all goes wrong, it is usually your family the only ones that stand beside you in your hour of need.

First of all, this is not a blog, this is a thread. It is not the same thing. If you want to blog I suggest you write in your diary or join livejournal. Second of all, the other thread was closed for a reason, so I don't think making one again was a very wise decision.

You didn't make this thread to ask for help, or anything of the sort. Honestly, I don't understand why you made this thread. It's not really a topic that would generate any positive arguments to better youth or to help other people out.

I, for one, could live without the presence of threads like this one.

And just to give you my two cents on what you are writing: Learn to be grateful and appreciate your mother. If not getting the pair of jeans you want is your biggest problem, then consider yourself a lucky kid.
