What is up with students these days hating teachers? They're here to help us , not to be a punching bag, so what's tha problem?

I think that the idea of hating teachers not only comes from peers but also because the teachers give a reason for their students to hate them. Personally I seem to initially dislike my teachers until I either end up hating or liking them. I don't think that the situation always comes down to weather or not the teacher should be hated, but rather the reason for why the student hates the teacher. Something I noticed with a lot of my friends is that once a majority of students hate one teacher, that teacher becomes hated by students that may or may not be theirs. Basically people tend to follow the crowd. However there is an individual level to a lot of this. For example, many times an individual student hates a teacher, however the rest of the class likes the teacher. So then you really just have to ask the question of why that one student hates their teacher.

See teachers taking their meager, shitty, pathetic salaries for the chance to knock some knowledge in to your skull for the hour or so they have you and hopefully improve america's youth. When you do things like the above which distract your attention from the lesson and essentially spit in the face of their efforts to help you out they get more then mildly peeved. I'm all for communicating with ones friends but before and after class please.

I hate one of my teachers so much.I hated them because she picked on me all the time,moved me to the back of the class because I had to tell my bff that her bf was cheating on her,she takes up our notes,doesn't let us talk,and gives us more homework to handell.She teaches eng. and read.,but shes damn good at it.So I say you can have a least one person/teacher to hate.Just don't act to tough people aren't to fond of young adults being mad at alot of people at once.you'll get quite lonly.trust me i've been there.

I have often been accused of things I didn't do, because I was labeled as a noisemaker when I was little. I talked a lot and was really loud. I have gotten a little better, but I still hate it when I am blamed for things I didn't do. I don't hate me teachers because of the false accusations, but I can be really annoying at times. We may say that we hate our teachers for things like that, but it is not very often that we have a real reason.

What is all this bull people saying kids just say they hate there teachers for atintion.what bull. I say i hate my teach becuse i have a reson. The teacher new i was gay and so when he discoverd that i drew a rainbow In class one day he held it in front of the class and said look what the sissy fagg drew. so dont be saying kids do it for atintion most of them dont and many of them have a valid reson for hating..

I do not necessarily hate most teachers. I only hate the ones who do not know anything about what they are teaching especially when it comes to the dates when battles happen. I also do not like the teachers who hang out with, and only call on the more popular kids. I love the teachers that everybody hates, because they say they are mean, or expect more from you and push you to your absolute best, making you realize hey this really could happen. I do not believe in talking about teachers badly though.

Yes, some teachers deserve to be hated. Not all. Some of them are the coolest people i have ever meet! The teacher that i hate has a good story behind it. He was my 6th grade teacher and is also my neighbor. During 6th grade, i wasnt doing to hot in math and science. He told me that girls arnt as good at math and science as guys are! HA. he was wrong. this year, i got all A's in math and science! I gave him my report card, he scowled, and chucked it on the ground. I laughed. My friend Austin ran up to him and said, " Whats the matter, afriead that shes smater than you?" WE laughed and walked away. Since then, he hasnt even looked at me!

Many kids think it's "cool to hate teachers" but what is the point of being in school if all you will do is hate? Isn't hate something that needs to be demolished for world peace?

Seriously. I think that it is disgusting when I hear kids talking crap about certaing teachers and being all, "I hate that teacher, they are such a bitch." For one thing, it shows that the kids saying this are extremely immature. Also, the kids are not taking the fact that teachers have to put up with so much shit into consideration. Seriously people, just stop being bitchy about your teachers. It makes you look lame and immature. Teachers have a lot to deal with just like you do.

What I hate is when schools let teachers convicted of stuff still teach. My neighbor had a teacher who was caught looking down girls shirts. So, what do they do? Send him to sixth grade, cuz' most of them are flat. Not even a scratch on his record. He got off almost FREE. Show me "no tolerance" now.

Teachers and students are both human. Humans go through phases as they age but always have the capacity to be very mean. There are misbehaved students and there are misbehaved teachers as well. students pick on teachers. teachers pick on students.

Teachers are regular people too. And I'm not gonna get along with every single person, including teachers.

my grade 5 teacher. The worst I ever had. Every friday, we would have a party, which I totally disagreed with. Plus, I had a couple girls bullying me, and the way he fixed it was putting us in a room and solve things.

The year before, he was on stress leave, and before the year was half over, he was on stress leave again. Right now, he is teaching in another school.

I can personal say I odn't like some of my teachers. In fact, I hate some of them.
But in some cases, I don't like the teacher becasue I don't like the subject. It sounds dumb, but it's the truth. For example, I hate histroy. The class just goes on forever. And I can't stand the teacher either. I bet he's a nice guy and all, but he teahces the WORST subjest ever!!

My geometry teacher last year, absolutely hated,

I got my paper back in said 50% and my parners said 100% My teacher got in a lot of trouble with the principle.
