I've said this before, but I think that spanking is fine if not in excess and used only in extreme circumstances. Sometimes saying, "No, honey" just doesn't work.

I tried to fixed it, but i was unable. what was trying to say before was. I think spanking gives kids the wrong message That hitting is okay if someone is being bad/mean to them. I believe it's a lot easier and better to sit with your kids. Thats what my parents did with me and my 4 other siblings.

I think it's wrong to spank kids.

I mean parents spank there kids to teach them a lesson, but that means the kids are learning to hit when someone is mean to tell,

I think spaking just gives the wrong lesson. I mean parents should take time to sit down with there kids and talk, before they bring out the belt or even the hand.

I don't really think spaking is abuse, unless it's an everyday thing, and it's more then a smack on the butt.

I Also thinks it's wrong to spank some your age , i mean 14 a little old for the spanking.

I don't think spanking is abuse. Abuse, to me, is extreme physical harm - spanking really hard or with a belt or something is. But I also know that spanking has been proven as an ineffective punishment.

I think that spanking is wrong, ESPECIALLY for kids older than say... a year. When their really little a swat on the bottom isn't going to hurt but it will reenforce what's wrong or dangerous. However, once a kid is old enough to understand things I don't think spanking, particularly with any thing besides a hand (when a belt or something else is used the parent can't really tell how hard they're hitting the kid) does any good. One of the main reasons is that I think spanking is mostly an outlet of the parents anger; they're mad so they hit the kid. If they hit another adult it'd be assault but seeing as it's their kid it's ok.
