I just want to know why it's so attractive because I can't for the life of me see anything good of getting a permanent picture on your butt (which you will most likely come to regret after the initial coolness has worn off).

First off, you don't know me. Perhaps I just like to express my individuality in other ways, such as music or art. And furthermore, one can still be cool without little bits of metal sticking through one's skin in various places.

You sound like my brother . Believe it or not my parents MAY even let me get a piercing but my brother will kill me if he gets to know about it .

Why would any sane person want to have a bit of metal inserted into their skin? That gives me the creeps just as much as Celtic's avatar. And tattoos...when I want a tattoo, I'll go find one of those temporary wash-off kinds. I guess I'm just being a square, but I fail to see the appeal in having images practically engraved on your skin and making holes in your ears, lips, nipples, etc.

I got my friend to pierce my ears for me. I have my lip pierced and my friend Sam gave me a tattoo.

I'm going to get another tattoo on my lower back. My Dad doesn't like it, but he lets me do what I want. Most of the time.

i dont know but my parents wont let me get anythin(i already pierced my ears) til in 16 and wont let me get a tattoo until im 18]

so i took matters into my own hands

i pierced my own lip and my nipple

i already know what tattoo im gonna get

i think parents care so much because since were so young they dont want us to make stupid desicions that well regret

I don't know, my parents are kinda old fashioned and those beliefs kinda got passed down I guess. I got kicked out of my dad's house because I got the tops of my ear pierced, actually will be as soon as he finds out. I would never want my naval pierced, I've watched everyone's get infected. Parents are old fashioned sometimes and think that piercings are for hippies and stuff. Also could be the whole "not acceptable In society" and "why put MORE holes in your body" speeches. All that I know is that I have 3 piercings in my ears total and that I am allowed 2 more. I am thankful my mom allowed this and can wait till I am 18 for any more. Which will just be my lip and eyebrow in the first place. Just be thankful you got your ears pierced in the first place!

Are you aware you spelled tattoo wrong? Oh well, just accept it, you can wait until you're 18.
