As youth we are supposed to repect our elders right? Well that if they are wrong? Government officials, police, teachers, anyone can be wrong, no everyone is wrong at one point. So how do you think we should deal with being lead down the wrong path by someone that is “right”?

My view on life, is to do what I see right, no matter what anybody else says. Its my life to live and nobody should be able to dictate what I can and cannot do.

I see no compelling reason to respect your elders if they've done nothing respectable.

I'm also going with what Shade said. And it's also true what Clpo says about it being iffy even after you are able to vote. I didn't vote for Bush on his first nor second term, and look how things turned out.

I'd go with what Shade said. You're always free to have your own opinions. Respecting your elders means you can politely disagree with them from time to time, so long as your disagreements aren't illegal (which you can't really do anything about until you can vote and even then it's iffy).

First off, if you know its wrong don't follow.
Second, just because they are "officials" doesn't make them worthy of respect.
Third, you have a brain. I suggest you use it.

You can respect them without agreeing with them.
