its not that i dont love my parents its just that they make me feel like shit. well its not my mom, i have a close relationship with her, but everytime i try and do something to make myself look nice i get yelled at by my dad. I recently put some eyeliner and eyeshadow on and when my dad noticed he goes whats on your eyes? i want an explanation for that. and then he called in my mom and was saying why is she wearing make up? i got mad and walked away. never wore make up since. on another occasion he told me i looked fat in a shirt that i was wearing. i am 110 lbs. how do i look fat in any shirt? somedays i have to push my dresser up against my door and avoid him so he cant lower my confedence anymore.the worst thing is he thinks my brother is an angel child, and he is the one who sneaks out when hes grounded, and hangs out with kids who do drugs. explain that! i grew up a tom boy and now its like i cant do anything that makes me girly.

some dads sre just like tht ik mine is. theonly problem is i cant hide from mine. at least hes not makeing fun of ur existence. My dad tell me tht im stupid and i need tested for it and a learning disability, also he tells me alot tht i have no friends tht they and my mom and gma are pittying me. so ik what ur going through my sis is like ur lil bro. the only thing i can say is to wait it out till you can move out on ur own.

well, i think that he's just not used to the change and he's not sure how to compliment you without sounding awkward. My dad said the exact same thing when i put on make-up for the first time. I was a complete tom boy too so i can understand why those kinda changes would bring on that sorta reaction. I would just ignore him for now and wait til he gets past his criticism. he might not realize that what he says has this effect. i would mention it to your mom and have her have talk with him.
