Man, I had so many horrible teachers that I can't even remember. Mr. S - I had him 9th and 10th grade. He was a math/computer science teacher who would disappear for days and weeks. The teachers and administrators felt bad for him because his wife left him so they never fired him until I had a semester where he was there only like 3 days. We had subs the whole semester and never did any work. Then the last week they dicide to cram our brains with tons of work that we were supposed to do and give us a final exam. He wasn't the greatest teacher either, he would always give us the answer. Ms.G - Thought everyone was great at math. I could swear that she really didn't know what she was doiong, but she soared through all the work so fast so we wouldn't notice. Pretty cool lady though. Mr. A- Spanish teacher. I could swear that he didn't know what he was doing. He didn't even know how to spell the words! I never learned any spanish from his class. But at least it was fun!

Class of 2007. I have no idea what to do with my life either. I've ditched every idea that I've thought was good.
Okay. in 2nd grade I had a teacher. Duh! It was her first year teaching and she had no idea what to do with me I got to sit and readbooks like Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
In seventh grade my math teacher left on maternity leave over spring break. Our new teacher had no idea what she was doing. I got home one day to find my Mom on the phone with her, the new teacher telling my Mom that I was in danger of failing. That year at the end of the year tests I got like a 98 or 99th percentile ranking for the math section.

I had a sub in 8th grade math that spent the first 3/4 of class going though the roll and trying to guess all our middle names. Of course none of us actually wanted to do the math so we joined in. Bob G. Soandso= -George? -Gerald? -Germaine? -Grant? -Gustov? -etc, etc, times like 30 people in the class Oh and this last year- 9th grade- I had two totally messed up teachers. My English teacher kept speaking in different European accents. And at the end of the year she gave us a project that she we didnt get past the research stages on even though she gave us all these due dates just to teach us the "beginning" stages of a project. My Spanish teacher- my goodness he was a flake. he would like not make us turn in our homework at the end of the year if we turned in a note saying we did it. And no one actually learned anything in that class because he was SOOO easy. I also have had classes with teachers who describe the changing of their childrens diapers with WAY to much detail (she taught family life) and teachers who wouldnt pay attention to the class even would people would stand up on the top of the desks and jump off and another teacher who half the students in the class got over 100% because it was SOOO easy and she gave SOO much extra credit.

Deal with it. Wait until college. Your biggest worry will be getting a teacher who speaks English.

yeah..i had millions of them back when i was in high school..i also have one this year in college..as a 17-year old, i have my right to say this...he's our chemistry teacher(since i'm taking up nursing, i have the subject)...he goes to his own planet when he discusses things to us...actually, i haven't learned anything from him...all of us,actually...he couldn't even solve his own calculations...as a freshman,i'm really observant on things since i'm still in the adjustment stage..here in the philippines, sometimes your rights as a student turn out to be the opposite...i plan on complaining but there are just some freaks in the classroom who plan on wasting thier tuition fee and lear nothing...

I had this one band teacher for three whole years! He was terrible...nobody knew how to play their instruments cause he never taught 'em how. All he did was yell, throw tantrums (as well as chairs), send people out into the hallway, give detentions, and feel sorry for himself while pouting in his office...luckily for high school I've got a great band teacher...

Well my life sience teacher in freshman year was bad. For notes she didn't explain then she just keep putting up more and more pages. And it was like I was in kindergaten, she had us color and play with play dough, it was so gay. And then when test came she always marked stuff wrong that was right, I know that is ok onece and a while but not like 5 times on every test! Thank-goodness I don't have her any more. And in 4th grade I had a witch for the teacher. We got in trouble for the stupidest things, and one time I went a week w/o lunch because I was getting words wrong on spelling tests, but that stoped once my parents found out.

I have heard of this one.. I have a teacher in economics and i just dont get why we have this subject when i am in a nursing course. But oh well... i dont hate the teacher but sometimes she is so boring and plus the subject is boring and i cant get all the lessons in my head. Even all my classmates dont like economics. My teacher is good with the subject but she doesnt make any effort to improve her teaching skills and her grammar... I am sorry i said this coz i dont want to discriminate but yeah, she should improve her teaching skills. I think that even if teachers are not so good, they become teachers because of the need to be employed, to earn money for a living and there are some who enjoy teaching though in my opinion, they just want to teach because teaching is one job that is readily available especially if the person is a college graduate and not in some other course like medicine or nursing or engineering.

You have to pay when you get detention? That stinks majorly.

What a dumba**, anywho.....
My school is weird the teachers as weird as well, meh can't complain. But this one time where I was complainin was when one of the TA's gave me detention (we have pay $10 if we get detention, if not then the rate will go up to $12) then I went up to my teacher and I said "Sis. can I show you my homework to show you that I did do it?" then she said "Don't complain, I trust Sis. E, and if she gave you detention it's because you didn't do your work." and I did, stupid people, well it's all in the past. But it does suck big time.

Wow...you all have had some pretty bad teachers. Hmm...let's see here for me... Last year's (ninth grade) English class was pretty awful. Our teacher wasn't supposed to be an English teacher; she was a math teacher. She often didn't know how to pronounce words (like "bough"). For homework, we would usually read and answer questions on a worksheet. The next day, she would walk around the entire class, marking you down as having done (or not done) your homework. Then we'd go through the answers as a class (but you could pass when it was your turn). So a lot of people just wrote nonsense stuff on their worksheets to make it look like they'd done their homework. Sorry, I'm rambling...anyways...I learned nothing that year. I've actually had a lot of good teachers, too. And I should have a spatula picture, shouldn't I?

My 2nd, 4th and 7th(for English and History) grade teachers were all the same. They had NO control over the class at all. In 7th grade, it got so bad, a class I was in made the teacher cry. Also in 7th grade, my Math teacher knew no math. I was smarter then her in the subject, so all the kids came to ME for help, which sucked when I was trying to do my work. In 8th grade, I had 2 science teachers. One was awesone, but the other one. WOW. It was like she was apathetic to everything. She had us do these experiments with no points to them, and never saw things that happened right in front of her eyes. Also in 8th grade, my Spanish Teacher went on a hiatus, saying she had pneumonia. We didn't have a regular teacher/sub for 3 months. All these subs would come in, proclaim themselves our longterm sub, then leave 2 days later. It got so bad we watched the first fifty minutes of The Road To El Dorado 5 times, and did the same lesson 3 times. We never knew what homework or work was due when, or if it was due. It was insane. In 9th grade, my English teacher would assign a book and reading, then we'd come into class and discuss it. That was our full year. And we ALWAYS discussed the EXACT SAME THings. We also kept a journal in that class, and she'd be like: 'I want you to see what your classmates think' and make us grade each others work. She'd also put a movie in, then promptly leave the classroom. Besides all those teachers, I've also had crazy subs who seperate you because you MIGHT talk, not because you talk, and shut out the lights and demand silence when the volume goes above a whisper and you're working on group projects. And then there are the subs who sub for high schoolers and seem to treat us like we're in early elementary school... And I just realized how many bad teachers I've had. Wow.
