My summer look starting 6/20: a swim suit running shorts / capris tank top sandals / sneakers towel almost none of my jewelry Those are the clothes I wear to work everyday, shoes vary depending if I need to work out on my breaks. But my clothing is still mostly black and blue.

Here's my family dress code: shoulders covered. Put your hands above your head. Is you stomach peeking out from under your shirt? Bend over and touch the floor. Is you back peeking out from under your shirt? Is your skirt/skort/shorts above your knees? Is your shirt so low cut that cleavage is apparent? Is it apparent when you bend over? Can you see your panties outline through your clothes? Can you see your bra outline through your clothes? Do you have to wear a strapless bra? If the answer is no to all the questions, then you're ready to go.
Just because nobody understands you, that doesn't mean you're artistic.

I have my own style that describes how i feel that day anyway in the summer I dress really scanky and i can admit that At school if I could dress the way i want to i would but just b/c somebody dresses a certain doesn't mean they are that way.

Methinks maybe your aunt has had some man-problems in her past. She's probably just trying to look out for you, but dress how you like, you will find a look that will give you the treatment you want. Oooh... lists... I tend to wear: (In the summer) -Flip-flops or pumps -Pants (that dont cut off circulation) or a skirt, sometimes quite short, but never shorts I hate shorts. - A feminine blouse (usually with floral things or lace... or it's pink) - A jacket or sweater (It's washington) - A breast cancer bracelet and blingy, big earings, plus my specs Well I tend to get the kind of reactions or lack there of, that I prefer. Usually it's only relatives or close family friends who make comments, but strangers, who are your biggest clue-in, treat me pretty much the same reguardless. What pisses me off is that some people think that if i have the tiniest bit of cleavage showing, it's attrocious, but my flat-chested friends can have all but their nipples hanging out. One of my friens was once told her shirt was too short and pants too low. Her pants were well above any "hairs" and shirt was below her belly button... she just has a long torso! Sure people should dress right for their body type, but people have to realize that certain body types can't always cover up the same way. Oh and in the winter I am in the Hellhole that is Flagstaff Arizona where it snows for 7 months, so I look like jabba the hutt in my layers of clothing anyway.

Tampa. People are so nice there, it's scary. I live in New York and when I walk across the street at a yellow light, if there's a car far away that sees me, they speed up and try to hit me. Then my friend and I went to Tampa and when we got to the curb (there was no street light) all the cars just stopped. It was the most frightening event of my life.

I wear everyday: Jeans a shirt a jacket converse sneakers (i love them) If I'm on vacation in Florida or just not at school I walkaround outside bare foot. My hair is always down. I don't wear makeup. It just wastes time to put it on and I hate trying to get it off.

I wear everyday: flaired jeans or khakis or shorts t-shirts, long sleeve shirts, blouses, collared shirts skirts (flowered nothing too short) sandals in the spring and summer, sneakers with jeans, doc martens with khaki My hair is usually down, but sometimes I wear it in braids or a pony tail. I dress conservatively. I don't think my parents would let me out of the house if my underwear was revealed or my shirt was too low cut. I don't think that public schools should have uniforms, though there should be a stricter dress code that is enforced.

I wear everyday: loose fitting jeans/ capris t-shirts or just plain colored shirts skirts (that are ruffy and about to my knee) flip-flops, tennis shoes, or flats and I usually wear my hair down or I scrunch it and put a ribbon in it My jewelry is just a diamond & ruby ring and a big thumb ring on my right thumb. I wear some big ball bracelets sometimes too.

This is what I tend to wear: -jeans -shirt or blouse or tank top -a pair of ankle combat-like boots -or a mini skirt And a watch and a pair of earrings. I don't care anymore for my clothes. It's just stupid.

okay wow, I didnt understand most of that but I'll try to respond... At my school, its all about whos the most popular and whos dressed the nice. I frankly couldnt give a rats butt on what I wear or where I buy it. Symone, yes, your dress affects a persons first impression of you. If you dress like a skank - then they'll automatically going to associate you with skanks! If you dress in long skirts and fitted shirts - theyre going to think you are either really religious, and/or you are smart and mature. Thats just how todays world is... Thats good youre not looking for a husband, but you shouldnt dress like a slu* (I'm not saying you do, but I'm assuming) either. Yes, hopefully you will find a guy that loves you for you and not what you wear, but first impressions are everything. Nice, caring, sensible guys arent going to look at a skank and think "well theres a good, one-man kind of girl" - when you dress inappropriately, youre only going to attract the guys that want to get laid and then forget all about you. Thats just how society works.

quote: I'm asking this becuz I dress NORMAL!!!!
I know girls who dress 'normal' we call them them posers. The 'normal' dressers all dress exactly the same because they're too unoriginal to dress like they're individuals, not clones of some girl in a magazine.
