But I really have no pity for rape victims. Sure, traumatizing. Also, hard if impossible to get over. But so is depression. So are suicide attempts. So is being forced to believe something by your family for your whole youthful life. So is having your parents divorce. So is having a relative die. So is having a sibiling kidnapped. So is having a pet die or have to be killed ( also known as "put down" ). So is seeing a family member or good friend waste away at the clutches of a disease. So is losing the function of a major body part. So is being born without a major body part. So is being blind. So is being disowned. Shall I go on?

Sometimes talking to people online is the first step and it'll make it easier to get real help.

Being raped is one of the biggest curses of life, without proper help and support it could affect you for the rest of your life. You may feel like you're nothing and you aren't worthy, and someone has totally abused you without consent and you arent in control. You may develop depression or a self distructive illness in order to feel that control again thats been stripped from you.
Best bet, talk to someone about it, keeping it secret will eat you up inside.

i was raped and i just don't really talk about it because it brings back bad memories!!

A psychologist and therapist doesn't work for everyone......... Oh and a psychologist makes things worse. I'm not saying this for all psychologists or therapists but you know sometimes it may happen that way.

I have not been raped but I do suggest you get counseling from a psychologist/therapist. They can help you through it. Plus your family should be helping you, too.
