People, let's face the truth, kids don't need help. That's how they become sissys! Think about your actions. Once the kid goes to high school he's get beat up for being a loser. Face it i'm right. You guys don't know what you're talking about. Kids need to learn how to fend for themselves. You know I'm right!
Obviously children need help from adults. There is a difference between helping your kid out with things and completely spoiling them. Neglecting your child's needs is a terrible thing to do.
Of course kids need help, they're the future, every time you help a child your helping the future of the earth becomes brighter. Don't tell me not to help kids who are being abused. There's a big difference between teaching a child how to fight and abusing a child. No child deserves to live in hell, you are a heartless, stupid person person. You say that if we help them they become sissys, well that's a lie because not helping them scares them mentaly and physically and without help they can die and if they do live they might carry on the cycle of abuse. And ultimately not trying to stop child abuse or any kind of abuse just feels the world with hate.
Kids need love, affection, and support. There are ways of making them independant without ignoring them. If they need a parents help and they don't get it, they may grow up to be strong, but you know what else they will be? Bitter and Emotionally hurting.

so let's say that some day u have a neice, when she is 2 years old, she gets raped (front and back) by ur best friend. she comes to u crying, ur own neice, and u just send her on her way. u tell me, that u wouldn't help her. cuz u, would, u would probably kill ur best friend. don't even tell me u wouldn't. then ur friend tell's u he did it cuz she was a loser, how would u feel then?

Kids in other countries need places to play just like we had. It's not fair that they have no place to run around and play games. Kids shouldn't have to watched themseleves as their parents work. They should be able to run around and have fun. Let them run around like little kids.
WHY HELP KIDS??? The answer is this: Children are special. They are a blessing from God and so, we have to raise them and take care of them... I think that we shouldnt abandon them nor abort our kids because in the end, they would be the light and joy to our lives... Kids have this amazing effect to brighten up our days even when we know we are so gloomy inside.... Like with my 4 year old sis... Sometimes i get annoyed with her for always bothering, but then, i would feel guilty because not only is she family, but she is so innocent and lovable that i cant help loving her..... And i think that kids in orphanages should be taken care of too as well as those who were adopted. To me, it is better to put your kids up for adoption (if you dont like them) than have it aborted because someone ( a lonely woman) might want that kid that you dont want... All in all, kids are precious and they should be loved....Otherwise, we, teens of today wouldnt be here if our mothers abandoned us right?

umm... Hi everyone, i'm kinda new to this page and i'm sorry i didn't have time to read all the posts on this topic. But i think after a while, it's just the same people restating their feelings. My problem is not with people's opinions on this matter, but with their seeming lack of respect for other people's points of view. Obviously, everyone does not agree, and if everyone did, there would be no point in arguing. But please be considerate of each other.

One would either have to be diluded, or in serious denial if they think that the youth of the world can fend for themselves, surviving without the help of adult role models and mentors. The problem with the world is that people don't care enough. THere is such hostility everywhere, in existance due to those who don't know what it is to be loved and cared for. By the time a child hs reached high school they have made themselves who THEY want to be, by the influences of the adults and the people they look up to. Who they are is not going to be pre-determined by how much help they have in deciding just what they want to make of themselves, but it will be influenced by it. I really think that you need to sit back and take a look at the world, is this really how we want to be living? War and intolerance and ignorance of those we live with? Sexistu maybe you need to re-examine your life and imagine what it might be like if you didn't have an example to follow.
