So they have a way for people to choose the sex of their child before it is born, some say it is not our right to do this, messing with God's will and all that.....I think personally it is not that horrible. Any thoughts?

See just like the movie GATTACA those who are genetically created are superior therefore those of us created in the normal way God children if you will or genetic chance if you don't like the first are therefore inferior and if you want to stave off the cast system thing you need to nuke a good portion of the east coast and a good chunk of cali, plus a few miles of florida

I don't like the idea of it, but we will get to it, it's obvious. As much as I'd love a son, I can't possibly choose the gender like that. We wouldn't have a society of doctors and lawyers, because only the people who are doing very well economically would be able to afford this, the same way it's mostly rich(er) people who can afford Botox, personal trainers, private schools, good colleges, and plastic surgery.

There is just something wrong with goofing around with genetics that really hits a nerve. Plus, if we are able to choose the gender of our child, next we will be able to control other traits. Soon every child born will be multilingual, play a billion instruments, be tall and thin and have high IQ's. While this seems like a good thing, we must remember that it is our diversity that makes us so special. Think about it, with such a high level society, who would do all of those jobs that no one else wants to do? We would have a society full of doctors and lawyers, but no McDonald's workers or garbage men. Exacty what i was going to say. ^.^

It probably depends on the steroid to some extent. I don't doubt that it happens, but there are plenty of masculine men using steroids. "You learn about equality in the classroom but you find out about it in life" - Campus Confidential www.myspace.com/yogore
