My school is having some trouble deciding what to do about the milk in lunches. The company they buy it from wants them to charge 50 cents for it, meaning our lunch would cost $2.50. Some argue that the rise in price would mean less kids would buy lunch and spend money on sweets, some say that it is no big deal. What do you think?

The lunches at our school are like 3.50 or higher, so don't complain. If kids can't afford it try reduced lunch or ask the school for differnt options.

Never eat cereal while reading a PETA magazine.
Even though PETA is full of crap, they're also full of gratuitous, bombastic, and exaggerated details.

Ok then, good point, it dehydrates you. But see, the reason for the soda machines being taken away is a claim that children are getting fat off of soda and lack of physical activity. But the schools can easily increase how much we run in P.E. which they already do and i have no problem with it. But the claim that the soda is making us fat is just dumb. Like i said, they should focus in on the pizzas, hamburgers, french fries, and bags of candy and chips that students consume. That should have been done instead of removing the soda.

yes i must be a health nut... all i eat are fruits and pastries... mmmm donuts...
soda just tastes horrible to me... and while it does make some people hyper it does also dehydrate you because of high amounts of sodium and caffine.

Ok, you must be a health nut. But to us normal teens who like to have fun without getting into alchoal and drugs, soda is the next best thing. Gatorade is what makes you more thirsty. And you do get something out of soda. Being Hyper! I know that when a couple of months have gone by, and i open up a can of mountain dew, i'll be going for hours.

Soda is disgusting. You get nothing out of it. It dehydrates you, gives you drugged energy, tastes horrible, and makes your all burpy! I drink milk and water... it's so refreshing. Juice and tea are nice for a little variety.

Who cares about milk? They took our soda away! Because somebody claims it's making kids fat. I think they should look at the Pizza Hut and hamburgers that are being sold instead of taking our soda away! That sucks. And soda is about to be banned on campus. That means you can't even bring it from home. It's also stupid, because even though the majority may be fat, there are still skinny people out there who want soda!

Lunches at my school cost $2.50. And that's for the most unhealthiest food like, cheeseburgers, tacos, and some other crap. What can I say if we argue they give us detention, because arguing is bad. And besides my school has no money. I have no problem with it, only because milk is not served in our school, they serve us punch, which is really disgusting.

Holy crap, at my school lunches only cost 1.25! There is really nothing your school can do about it, my school it hijacking the price of everything. We can print off things on the computers in a library... but the paper costs 50 cents a page! So, I wouldn't be surpirsed if the lunches go up too. Arnold is messing around with the tax cuts which means schools get ripped off... (in CA anyways) -Sunset
