And I am saying one should act on that fear and do something about it. Castration is never too far if the crime deserves it. The three fold rule. Eye for an eye. Karma. Whatever you want to call it. I don't think a criminal is going to stop just by being locked up for a few years.

Having a fear isn't the same as thinking something is too far. For instance. I am firm in my religous beliefs, but I fear that there might be more truth out there I'm missing. It's not indecision. One is an emotion, one is an opinion..

I was sexually abused by my step brother when I was 9 and he was 15. Let me just say this, I am 22 now and he is married and I assume will eventually have children so when you say that by killing them or castrating them is going to far because it will just hurt their family and friends, please keep in mind that it is them who first hurt their FAMILY and FRIENDS. most sexual abuse happens within a family. I live in fear eveyday that I will hear from my family his wife is expecting, because who is going to protect that child from his/her "family"?

And I think that it seems "normal" because it happens TOO MUCH! And the perverts walk free after a nice stay in jail rent and bill free for a few years, and i mean a VERY few years if that.....some get no time behind bars depending on the severity and there is that pesky "first time offence" to take into account, and well if their an honor student look out.....the judge will probably take the low life out for lunch......

People seem to think that girls will have sex eventually anyways so why not just get it over with. That's why it's such a big shock (well bigger) when little boys get molested. We live in a upside down society.

I think that sexual abuse has always been common, just that many women back in the days didn't speak out about as much as it is being spoken of now. I suppose before it was sort of taboo to talk about it. Now people are more open to listen to this type of things and more understanding that it isn't the victims fault.

That's true, and I think that something definitely needs to be done for those kids. But it doesn't need to include death.

Personally, I've never been sexually abused. But I know people who have. I feel that rapists should be castrated or put to death. This is because when they rape someone, they kill a part of that person's life. A huge part to be exact. Besides that, the entire family and sometimes the community is devastated by these incidents. There are AIDS campains, poverty drives etc. While I support and admire these undertakings 110% i feel that we need to stand together on this issue.

Me either. My parents also think I might have been, though.

Although I don't think I was ever sexually abused, I do know several girls who have gone through it. I know a girl in my class at school who has been raped multiple times by her own dad. Her dad also molested her younger cousins. I think that it is horrible that anyone should have to go through this, especially young kids. It's just so sad.

It makes me feel bad for those who are the ones who do it to these poor girls.
It really changes them and their life, it makes everything different and they will never ever be the same again. They have to grow up thinking that there was something that they could have done to prevent it, nad that it happened because of who they were and what they had done. But really there are just being hurt because of someone who deals with insecurity, and that they were never loved, and to fulfill there needs. They dont even think about what they are doing to the innocent girls. They just do it. It's absolutely horrible. But the best thing we can do is pray for them, and get those girls to church, to change their lives. And get those men in jail, and try to change their lives as well. Hang in there girls!!!!!

I've never been sexually abused... that I know of. My Mom thinks I was because of an incident when I was three. That's another story though. I know it's extremely common. I can only name one of my five best frinds from a small town that hasn't been molested. I think it's sick. My mom was molested for years, we think my sister was... but here's the deal: If you don't talk about it, and deny it happened, you'll convince yourseelf it never happened and forget. My sister did that. All she can remember is hating that man. It was one of her mom's boyfriends (she's my adopted sister).

I have also been through it when I was younger. Now that I think about it and remember what was actully happening to me it makes me sick. If there was anything that we could do to stop it I would support it 110% and help anyway I could.
