What are the reasons for children to turn to the streets to beg, being homeless, being neglected by parents and the community or even the nation these day?

i work with children who run away from thier houses, commit crimes and have parents turn them into orphangages...

they run away for a number of reasons actually
1.poverty ( thats mostly the root cuase of all the other problems which manifest from it)
2. drunk fathers who beat up thier mothers
3. ego problems (esp among boys and teenage guys)
4. when they have single parents who cant provide them basic things
5. some get involved with gangs
6. children whose mothers are prostitutes

lots more actually..you want to know about these kids noisemail me i have loads of sad stuff...

right now i found a full time sponsor for a kid i teach in one of these places and found a better school for him..
talked to lawyers and now we are doing an out of court settlement to get the kid out of the remand home( indian version of a juvenille detention centre) though this guy wasnt criminal..his fahter was a drunkard and beat his mum up to death..so ever since he was 7 he has been living here..he is brilliantly intelligent .
tmrw is the final settlement of his case and am so happy cause just 2 of us did the whole thing to get him out...cant wait for him to start a new life..he really deserves it..am only sad that we cant help to many kids..it touhg to decide between them......

Some parents can't handle kids because of problems they have. or the parents might be mixed up indangerous activities that the kids had to get away from. I seriously think any parent that disowns their child has a mental disorder. Support and love for your children should be unconditional.
