I just started sponsoring a girl in Nepal- she's twelve- and I was wondering if anybody had tips on writing a letter to her. Thanks!

Cathay-
Thanks for the luck! I've had many penpals, and after a month, I lose touch. I'm a good penfriend, eh? Smile

well, i think that i would ask her questions...ask her what she likes to do and what makes her happy. ask about her friends and her family and what they are like. ask whats her favorite animal...stuff like that....ask her what she wants to be when she grows up..i don't really know what is appropriate, but i think i would ask questions and get to know her and what life is really like over there. then i could widen my horizon and enhance my perspective on other cultures and lifestyles...hmmm...
kisses and blesses,
e.k. Wink
