It doesn't have to be a selfish thing. Just think of all the celebrities who help charities and causes all the time! And, you'll be able to reach a lot of people at once and get a positive message across. Myself personally, I want to go into genetic/biomedical engineering and or be an English Literature major. well, my dream job doesn't have a lot to do with helping kids, and it's REALLY REALLY SELFISH and it only provides pleasure and no real results. But I want to be an actress. I'm going to get my major in theater/drama/whatever and a teaching certificate, and eventually get to the next two years of school to get a certificate to teach jr. high and high school. So then I will be certified to teach kids in school about drama, and also kids already IN drama. I think drama teachers also have to double as the English teacher so that'll be tight. My students WILL be able to recognize iambic pentameter when they see it!!!

i want to be a cancer doctor or pediatric oncologist. i already know what classes i have to take and how many years i'll be in college. i'm not even in high school yet so until i graduate i volenteer at the local hospital and sometimes vistit kids that are older than me. in the end i think it helps me a lot.

i have looked in careers alot i know the feild i want to be in, thats computers with out doubt, but im not sure exactly wut i wanna do yet. it varies from a computer programmer, because i have a class in school thats about computer science and my teacher said i was a good student at it, to repairing computers. but i have a lot of interests that i can have a job with computers so i jus dont know.... anyone else interested in computer im open to suggestions ....LOL :P

I want to be a C.S.I. (Crime Scene Investigator). I've been looking into that scence i was 9 I thought it was so kool! I started looking into it when i was 11 ....... thats what Im going to be!

i have a lot of things i'd like to be.i have no idea how i'm going to choose between them all. i'd love to be a veterinarian (i really suck at spelling), an author, a journalist, own my own business (preferably a bookstore.....ilove to read), or something to do with music (not singing)

last yr. in my english class we had a yr. long project on what job we want when we grow up and we had to write papers on it and find out all this stuff like how much they make a yr. (it was hard). true some kids kinda blew it off and picked jobs that where easy to research but not what they wanted to do. But i pick an environmental lobbyist (which is what i really would like to do) so it was kinda cool to find out all the stuff and what i should learn now and the experiance i need. plus it made the project more interesting. but without having to do that project i dont think i would have ever researched it.

I want to go into International Relations and either work for the Foreign Service, UN, or as a political analyst for the CIA, or something along those lines.

Currently I'm leaning towards a career involved in art somehow, but I haven't done much in the way of research yet.

Maybe a Police Officer... I've ALWAYS wanted to be that... umm maybe a Marine Biologist.. maybe be in the Air Force, Navy, or Amrmy, or maybe a firefighter... Anything to do with people or animals... maybe a writer, but most of all I want to become a police officer!

Ever since I was a kid, I always wanted to join an anti-terrorist unit, or maybe SWAT. Either way, you get to work with some serious hardware.

I'd like to work with autistic kids. I've done a lot of research, met some kids, learned about some of the professionals, and talked with a lot of people. It sounds like a job I'd enjoy.

I am not exactly sure at this time....but I know its between being an attorney or highly professional business woman...and I want to do other small things...like be a bartender, a massage thereapist, a club owner, a writer, and etc.

I want to be a phycyatrist or how ever you spell it. But I'm not sure. I change my mind a lot.

Right now I think I'd like to go into the movie making field. Not as an actress but as a writer, director, cinematographer, art director. I'm not really sure what I would want to do yet, but I've always been really interested in movies and I think it could be a good field for me to get into. I'm also interested in becoming a clay/stop-motion animator (Chicken run was done in stop-motion). That's a job that I've wanted since I was a kid, but only recently, after I started playing around with clay did I realize that I might be good at it. Yep.

I don't know exactly what I want to be but I know I want to work with kids. Right now I'm looking into becoming a daycare owner.

I am interested in becoming a pharmacist. My dad is one, and I ask him questions about his job. I shadowed a pharmacist at a local children's hospital, and did a couple reports on pharmacists.
