I think my sister is anorexic. She used to eat a lot of food. Now she only eats like a bite of something & says I'm not hungry. And it's scaring me. I'm not saying this because she's skinny. I'm saying this becuase she barely eats. So what do you guys think? Thanks, -JM

Talk to her about it. If she won't admit it, or you don't think she's lying, let it be for a while. Then talk to her again. Keep pressing it, it may make her upset, but it could save her life.

That's tought o deal with. I think you should maybe talk to her about it. Just say that you've noticed she's been eating very little and you're worried about her. However, some people react badly to that so if you think that would make her freak out or whatever then ask your parents to keep an eye on it too, or talk to her friends and see what they say about it. Collie- Well, she is constantly complaining that she is always hungry. Then never eats. Does that count as anything to be concerned about? -JM

the real way to tell this might be to notice what she's doing...not always how much she's eating. Is she obsessed w/ dieting? Does she ever say things like, "Im starving!" or complain about being hungry even after a long day? Is she losing a lot of excessive weight? Just b/c she may not eat much & is really slim doesnt mean she's anorexic. If youre still concerned, you should consider talking to your parents about this.
