I have been in a foster care for my first six months before I was adopted, so I don't kno what its like actually being in a foster care. I think that it's horrible that there are kids who are in foster care and they have to move to different housings and live with differnt people. Even though that I have a loving family, I still have half of my life missing and is in questioning. Every since I knew that I was adopted, I've wondered why my birth parents gave me up and if they are even thinking of me right now, but when I am 18 years old, I can find all of that out.
Just not now, which really sinks for a child who wants to know more about his/her life at a young age.

I totally hate Foster Care. Okay, I know, I'm being stereotypical here but the experience I had wasn't very good so I'm sorry to say but I do hate it.

I know, I'm evil.

Okay, I take it back, I don't hate it and I know there's a lot of good ones out there but I'm scared of ALL of them anyways

I feel really bad for you, but being given up for adoption has to be better than having an abortion.

I know there are some horror stories out there, I just saw one on the news last night. But not all foster care is horrible. My family provides foster care and our social worker says we are the best a kid can get. We and every other foster family I know do our best to make the kids welcome and part of our family. It works out great from my experiences with the people I know. Of course, there are lots of people that slip through the system and are in it for the money, although I think it has improved over the decades. I don't know how it feels like to be in foster care, but I can tell how my foster sister feels about being with our family: happy and thriving.

I can tell you many things about foster care and just about everyone is something upsetting or a hard ship for many foster children. I think foster care is terrible I lived in over fourty foster homes in just over ten years. I can remember being moved from place to place and never given a reason why. I also remember coming home from school and finding my stuff all packed up and ready to go so I could move with out me knowing I was moving. I also remember spending nights crying myself to sleep and hopping that one day I could just stay with someone who would call me son or even tell me they loved me! I am glad at the same time, because at the time every hardship I faced and over came made me the man that I am today. I lived through some amazing things and lived to tell about it. One of the things that I took from all of the moving was an ability to make friends and realize that when I gave my word I ment it. I remember aways being told that I would turn out to be this and fail at that but I can tell you now that I have always no matter what they said never let myself become a statistic. I know that things are hard in foster care and many of the people in foster care dont really care about the children they have but there are also worse places to be like in the streets.
