So I read an artical today about newborns that are dumped and therefore die (dumpsters, plastic bags, flushed down the toilet, etc) There is a man that has gone to the courts where he lives and has gotten legal guardionship over all newborns found dead. He gives them a memorial service, gives them all the last name "Hope" and buries them side by side. What he does is amazing. these children are given dignity, something they never got. But, although i think this is amazing. Hes already buried 80 babies in the last ten years...What do you think WE can do about it?

well dammit they need to start lives hangs in the balance. and not only the childs their lives (if the boy hangs around and doesn't run off like a pansy) will be changed forever just because they didn't think "hey maybe if we have sex we'll have a kid"

It wouldn't feel so good if that was the only purpose. It is able to have multiple purposes you know. Also, if it wasn't for recreation, then it wouldn't have to feel good, it could feel like nothing. People would have sex becuase they wnat children. When you're trying to concieve, you're looking forward to the baby, not the orgasm. Also, even if sex was only meant for reproduction, that's not how everyone veiws it. Why force people to be bad parents? We all know people don't always think about the results of their actions.

Sex is also fun. You can't force people to believe it is only for reproduction (and if it was, people wouldn't have birth control).

Yes, within 3 weeks of birth or something. You can take your baby to the police, firemen, hospital or similar place and they will take it and put it into state custody, no questions asked. It's an attempt to get rid of this problem.

I think there needs to be more widespread knowledge of the fact that in most places you can drop off a baby at a hospital or police station and they will take it in NO QUESTIONS ASKED. Maybe if more people knew about this, there would be fewer scared teenage girls who think their only way out is to get rid of it...

Wow, thats so sad! I can't understand why somebody would kill their child, all they have to do is to drop it off at a police station or hospital. But that man is pretty amazing. Its so good of him to take it upon himself to bury these poor children.
