Well, my best friend does it and tries to hide it. And my cousin just started cutting herself because she thinks its cool because she has heard of other people doing it. I don't like it and I wish there was some way I could help my friends with out embarrasing them.

By your screenname I'm guessing you're for it or like making it. Depends what mutalation you are asking about, some believe tattoos and piercings are a form, I don't mind that kind..I support that kind...but if you are talking about cutting, that would have to depend. Yes it is not a safe habit, but if it helps release for the time being ok. Just get help eventually.
