The article speaks for itself.

Faith or no faith in humanity, people are living through hell and I am sickened with myself, that I sit at home and feel depressed about AP tests and oh, how am I going to afford going out next weekend. I comfort myself in the drone "well, there is nothing you could do," and I am one of millions. Bad pervails as long as we let it and my goodness, we're letting it.

Sexual assaults are the most hellish things, they mess with a person so bad he/she never lives in the spiritual definition of "live". Kids sold like that, they make no money. As a little girl I was frightened by a drunk and looked into things, how people were treated baldy, just to scare myself from staying out too late. I found out that some who were sold were lucky if they ever got to leave a cell. It's not prostitution in the way we see it here--it's some kid, not even a teen, living in a locked room. Girls having kids after kids after kids, girls who are lucky if they see the sky once in a while.

Nothing gets to me more than animalistic behavior. And it makes me physically, honestly sick that I can sit here and talk about it in my pajamas at home after a "hard day" at school. Yet again the thought is in my head, "You can't do anything," but it is only a way of closing my eyes.

A great many people mistake opinions for thoughts.

i lost my faith in humanity the day i found out that sex crimes are the number one, msot popularm, most commited and tnhe worst crime ever, and it is so taboo and no one will speak out about it even when it happens to 11 year old twins and no one does anything about it. That is how i lost my faith in humanity.

I'd already lost my faith in humanity in general before this. I have faith in select humans and I'm always with the "decent until proven jerk" thing when I meet people. But humanity as a whole? Yeah, I haven't had faith in that for awhile now.

I still have faith in humanity but I guess humanity in general have lost their faith in themselves. Faith and hope goes hand in hand and they are important. In times of adversity, we should know that the world isn't over but it means we have to strive hard to correct our mistakes and to hope and have faith in ourselves and in the people around us. Smile

You must not lose faith in humanity. Humanity is an ocean; if a few drops of the ocean are dirty, the ocean does not become dirty.

I completely lost faith when I was about 8 years old and my parents told me that I couldn't go out of the house alone in the city because there were men that kidnapped little girls. That was the end of it for me. Also, I heard that a teenager who survived the tsunami was drowning, and a man told her to hold on to him and he'd save her. Then he raped her. What the heck is wrong with people these days???

True. But, they can live as orphanes and hope, or they can make some very few money with this. It's a no-win situation.

I talked about sex-trafficking in debate this and it is some bad s***. People are just viewed as objects and when people are objects any thing can be justified. We one so many rounds that under 500 instances of sex-trafficking is worse than global nuclear war. UN peacekeepers do a ton of sex trafficking and forced prostituion

That is so sick and so wrong that it makes me want to puke. People like that deserve to burn in hell. Its one thing to kidnap children, but to take advantage of them at a critical time like this their already traumatized lives?

Excuse me while I go throw up.

Sick. Extremely sick. And this isn't a matter of kids doing this to make cash, the article says they were kidnapped.

"How else can these kids live?"

They can live as best they can. Not every orphan stays nothing you know. They can hope, but doing just that would be riddiculus and leaving your fate in the hands of a syndicate who'll dispose of you sooner or later is just stupid. Yeah, the situation looks pretty grim, but that dosent mean that they cant rise up and get on with their lives.
