Question:
Seriously. Is it? I've read on here how some people think it's wrong. Why is it? There is a lot of kids who need homes. Homosexuals can raise kids too. And what's worse: Homosexuals adopting kids that need homes. Or having kids be homeless? So think of it that way. *I have nothing against homosexuals, I was just asking.*

Oh right. And I met a lesbian couple at my job on campus today with their daughter (Admitted Students Weekend) and they are perfectly happy, and it really doesn't seem like the girl has any sort of scarring.

Today I heard some boy ask another if he had a cig, and for a while I was confused because I thought he meant "sig" as in signature. I was like, "Oh, I wonder what forum they're so into that they talk about its accessories at school."

When I realized what they meant, I was kind of relieved but dissapointed in their smoking having just reached their teens...

Hey, if all kids need one mom and one dad...

LET'S MAKE DIVORCE ILLEGAL! WHOOPDEDOO! After all, JESUS said it was wrong!

(Appologies for the heavy sarcasm up here.)

Hmm, or maybe we should try and help out single moms. And what about orphans? No mommy or daddy. Sucks.

Honestly, just stop and think for a minute. There are much worse things that can happen to a kid than to be raised by two perfectly nice women or two absolutely fabulous men. OK?

That's only cultural. And with single mothers and a few single fathers nowadays, who is to say that they are unfit to raise a child as well? Nobody protests them, even though there is a missing "role".

Certain roles that moms and dads do? Oh, of course. I mean, you couldn't possibly have a mommy teach her little boy how to stand upright and pee in the toilet. Or have a daddy show his daughter what bra she should buy. It just doesn't ever happen. Never ever ever.

Not.

If this is your argument against homosexuals adopting (ironic, considering you're also against abortion, which would increase the amount of kids needing to be adopted), then you must also consider kids with single parents to be just as deprived and emotionally disturbed, since they only have one parent. Oh noes!

Anyways let me introduce you, mg30, to the wonderful world of the 21st century where the Male/Female roles in life have been stretch, skewed, blurred and in some cases completely eradicated.

Plus do you really want kids growing up emotionally disturbed or be in an orphanage or whatever they are called these days.

Homeless children grow up in foster care. Where they travel from family to family like a discarded piece of trash. Oh yes this seems a lots less emotionally disturbing than being adopted by to people who want children and will love and care for them.

Please prove to me that children become emotionally disturbed in a family that consists of homosexual parents.

Honestly kids need 1 dad and 1 mom!!! they play certain roles in a kids life you shouldn't deprive them of that it is your choice to be homosexual and with that choice you are making a decision not to have kids soo i think no homosexuals should not be able to adopt kids

First of all let me clarify something you seem to not quite understand.HOMOSEXUALITY IS NOT A CHOICE Now that that is out of the way I will continue to refute this statement. According to you gay couples should not adopt because they choose to be gay. Well then by this statement you are also arguing that couples with someone who is infertile should not be aloud to adopt because They choose to spend their life with that person.

well, i think to a certain extent it is okay. the only issue i might have is that the world hasn't completely accepted homosexuality yet, and maybe these children of homosexuals might be mocked by school mates or what not. but i think that it is okay, if it is a healthy invironment.

homosexuals arent bad at all. I mean they seem to understand there kids better even if they didnt sexually make them. A parent dosent have to be the one who helped create a child yet the one who takes care of the child the way they should be.!!!!!!!!!!!!

That we are all so biased? Please, show me where we all said we hated gays.

THIS MAKES ME EXTREMELY OUTRAGED THAT YOU ALL ARE SO BIASED! THE GENDER AND SEXUAL ORIENTATION OF A CHILDS PARENTS DO NOT DETERMINE WHAT KIND OF PERSON THE CHILD WILL TURN OUT TO BE!!!

A childs genes result in creating about a minimum of 60% of a childs personality BEFORE IT IS BORN. Alos a childs future and personality is pretty much set up in the first few months/years of its life. The rest builds on top of it, the foundation. WHAT DO YOU HAVE AGAINST PEOPLE OF A DIFFERENT SEXUAL ORIENTATION THAN YOU!!! THE PARENTS DO NOT TURN THE CHILD GAY OR STRAIGHT! Why points fingers at what's not understoood? We get no where and cause only more pain and frustration- especially for me!!! LET YOUR BIASES AND HATRED LEAVE YOU AND OPEN YOUR MIND TO NEW POSSIBILITIES! the mind is like a parachute- it works best when it's open!

I don't see anything wrong in letting homosexuals adopt children that need homes. Being bi-sexual myself, I know that there are a lot of myths of homosexuals adopting children and them turning out gay, or psycho. A normal, heterosexual couple would have a child that will turn out to be homosexual (for example, my parents), or to have one that turns out psycho. Its only fair to give the needy children a home with any family that will accept them, love them, and look after them, no matter their sexual status.
