A lot of people are with Youthnoise to help others with their problems on posts and stuff like that. That's all gravy. But do any of you guys actually volunteer at a local charity? Do you ever help those Fund Raisers for the homeless at school? Do any of you guys even care? I am going to be volunteering at Wishing Star with my good friend. And it really opens up my eyes to different things just thinking about the changes I could make in someones life. So I was wondering if any of you guys cared to help others.

It is stupid to not volunteer because you think that one person cannot save the world. You only need to affect one person's life to make a difference. Nobody should try to save the world; that is impossible.

no i really do it, but because we dont have anything better to do.
normal agenda:
get up at 10 and meet somewhere in the street
go and walk somewhere
declare abandoned buildings our property
go ask people on the streets for money
give the money to some beggar
wakl some more
break some windows
get chased by a fat cop who gets tired after like 6 meters
walk some more
sit down and drink some coke
play jokes on people
get into some mall
get kicked out of some mall
paint on something (arbage cans, whatever)
help some kid get more money
eat some tacos
get back home

I teach dance to kids that can't afford lessons. I also volunteer at the local Shepard's Center. (At the Center I scoop cereal,make food baskets, etc.) I also go to the nursing home to visit and help with Bingo and birthday parties. I help with Beta Club and Student Council.

I try to volunteer as much as I can. At least once a month. It's good to get your friends involved too, it's more fun and you're helping out the community.

i volunteer sometimes. i used to a lot more, but i dont have as much time anymore

people fight here because it's the same thing as high school

Ihave helped volunteer once but i am not currently volunteering.

I do I volunteer in a province. I teach arts and crafts to the children there I also help out in a local animal shelter.

During summer, I volunteer in a rehabilitation center for endangered endemic animals in our province.
When there are classes, I volunteer as tutor at a nearby Elementary School.
Once a year, I volunteer in a Rural service Project where we organize Free Medical and Dental Missions, Livelihood Seminars and Academic Tutorials in far flung towns.
