Uptowngirl, I don't care if you believe me or not, but helping kids is my new hobby. I stopped taking drugs with a help from a friend. Bloodylogos, there are a lot of people that hate me, but I don't care.

Jackass. I donate a lot of stuff...I'd like to volunteer for things, but there's not much to do around here besides work at a salvo thing...I think I might volunteer at the hospital this summer though...that would be kind of neat.

I tutor, I also help 'retarded' kids with things, like emotional problems, school, and just hang out with them. I also volunteer at a soup kitchen for the homeless and work at Goodwill over the weekends (there is also a donation center that they own) And the Marlin Mason center for Moms and kids that have been through abusive relationships and/or don't have homes. I go around on the highway and do neighborhood cleanups. I've been trying to get Arnold to help Fresno with the air and I started a petition. I've started to volunteer at the help hot line center and that's fun. I dontate hair for Locks of Love. (That isn't to hard) I've donated money for Mission Trips and trying to get other people to donate, ect. I've bought goats and chickens for families in Africa. That's about it. -Sunset

I trutor little kids. It's fun. It's not for youthnoise, it's for my school, but I enjoy helping others...sometimes. Anyway, I don't really think of youthnoise as a "Helping other people" site, I think of it as a chatting site. Sorry. Hehe.

I volunteer at a soup kitchen. And I helped with Operation Smile at my school. I also used to tutor kids at the middle school next to my school, but I don't do that anymore, because I realized, I hate lazy kids (I realize that most kids who are in need of a tutor aren't lazy, but the brats at this school were).

I've worked with Bridging, Inc., which is a local organization that collects and redistributes furniture for families in transition. I've also done stuff with Habitat for Humanity, and Urban Homeworks. About once or twice a month, a friend of mine and I go to Vail Place, which helps mentally ill adults, and hang out with them.

I've volunteered at elementary schools to help them with whatever they're having trouble with (multiplication tables, reading, writing etc.) And I help tutor my peers who have trouble with English and History.
I've volunteered at local animal shelters (even though I couldn't be in direct contact of the animals due to my age. Eck)
I've volunteered for the Special Olympics here in Atlanta, and I've helped with something called Hospital-Art. That's basically where you paint pictures, which are sent around the world to "brighten" up Hospitals where children are.

I used to volunteer at the local public library. I spent most of my time in their basement, updating their online book lists. Kind of creepy. Dust, cobwebs.. and fire-hazardous, I'm sure.

I was a volunteer counselor at a summer camp for a month and a half. I also volunteer at the local library (reshelving books) and a nearby homeless shelter.
