Have you seen the show? They don't have sex. it's just like having an adult sleep over. They don't even sleep in the same bed. it won't hurt kids for a parent to be gone for a week and have someone else watch them. Child labor? How is having cameras around labor? read the post bauhaus. kids don't have a choice. if their parents sign up, their stuck. and child labor laws have nothing to do with this marine. thats the simplest level of thinking you could take on this issue.
It actually DOES say adam and steve. Thats what you get for reading the translation!

Don't get me started on child labor laws. They're almost as bad as the 40 hour work week.

Reality shows do not hurt children, because they follow the same child labor laws that the rest of the United States has to follow.

i think you raise a good point purpledog. this trading spouses show in particular seems an egregious breach of the sanctity of marriage and family. it is different from having someone different take care of you. do these women share a bed with their tv husbands? that certainly would upset me if i were a kid.

I think any show whether eality tv or not, that promotes bad influence or SHOWS ban influence like cussing, nudity and violence CAN AFFECT AND HURT KIDS MORE THAN YOU THINK. Kids are vulnerable at that ae, so anything that they witness will be imprinted in their mind easily.

I could see that child fearfactor could be dangerous, but trading spouses? Not at all.

I actually agree with FML on the Apprentice. But as for make over shows and such, it's because that is what people want to see. If people want to see it, it will not be taken off tv. if we want to teach kids about capitalsim, we should teach them more about it in school, or they should read a book about liberalism and liberal ideolegies (sp?). the only thing that can be learned from the apprentice is how not to wear a toupee. what about shows like the swan? do we really need to reinforce the idea that beauty is the most important thing in the world?

But those few weeks of pain are going to make for a nice financial future for those kids, as long as the parents don't squander it all on tractors and hogfeed.
